My dog loves this food. Inadvertently been feeling her Hills Metabolic Mobility for years and she didn’t like it. I moistened it, put it in the microwave, added grated cheese, etc. just to get her to eat it. I put this kibble in her bowl and she eats it up. The small kibble make it easy for her as she has lost a lot of teeth. The best part is that the vet says it’s great for her heart failure.
My dog was diagnosed with a heart condition, so it was recommended that her diet be changed to a food geared towards cardiac care. Previously, she ate pro plan sensitive skin and stomach. I figured this would be the closest thing but she hated it. I wasn't sure if that was just how it had to be since she requires a low sodium diet, I thought maybe all appropriate food options would no longer appeal to her. I decided to order royal canin about a week ago, and she loves it, maybe more so than her original food. This kibble must be extremely bland or something.
My dog's heart disease progressed, so I started looking into veterinary diets that could help support his heart function. My dog loves his new food! He lacks the bowl clean everytime.
My pup HATES the Royal Canin so we switched to this one recently. I love that it’s super small kibble (even smaller than my other pup’s purina pro small breed). Doesn’t have the god awful fishy smell either.
One of my babies has to be on a special cardia diet, so that means they all have to be. Thankfully they all like it
My dog has to eat this everyday as he is 10 years old and this keeps his heart murmur under control. I wish they had different flavors but I just add some peeled apple, sweet potatoes, frozen green beans or peas. He has been on it for awhile and he is just fine. Good product and you can trust Purina!
To expensive for what it is. Having to get an RX for it means we already have a vet bill. Then on top of that even more for food. Some people may not be able to afford this for the health of their fur baby.
My dog was recently diagnosed with Stage C congestive heart failure and his cardio vet recommended that he start Purina ProPlan CardioCare. My dog loves it and am hoping that it will help provide him the essentials that is needed for his condition, in addition to his medication.
Great food for my dog’s cardiovascular issues. Thank you Purina!
My dog loves it but he'll eat anything. I was puzzled that the protein ratio is lower than what I used to feed my dog. We'll see over time if this food helps his heart condition.
