Where is the duck sourced from?
Answer by • Apr 01, 2021
All of Purpose freeze-dried foods are made in USA and sourced in USA except rabbit. While Purpose are doing their best to source rabbit locally sometimes they need to import from France. Purpose do not source any product or raw material from China or any other countries with questionable manufacturing methods. All of Purpose ingredients are human-grade, USDA inspected and approved. They source raw fruits, vegetables, meat and poultry from local suppliers. Their manufacturing facility is USDA inspected and approved.
Is this product safe to feed despite being Raw? What food safety measures are taken in the manufacturing process?
Answer by • Jan 26, 2024
Freeze dried dog food is actually made from fresh foods with nearly all of the water content removed through a special process. The result is a light and dry product that is packaged in air tight containers for future use. Freeze dried dog rations remain viable for years as long the packaging is not damaged or opened. This is because all micro-organisms need water to survive, so the spoilage process goes into suspended animation. When you’re ready to feed your pet, all you have to do is open the package, add a little water to reconstitute the food and their dinner is ready to be served.
All Purpose Pet Food recipes manufactured in a certified kitchen under constant inspection of a USDA officer, which overseas and match package claims.
