QALO ID tag has a non-replaceable battery that lasts up to two years and is waterproof for up to an hour, up to 1 meter.

How do you detect your dog if there is not a map involved? Does the collar make a noise?

This tag works with the Tile app which uses a map (available on Google Play and Apple store) to help track your pet. The tag does not make noise.

do you have to pay a monthly subscription for service to work

The finding features are free with the Tile app, but you can also subscribe to Tile Premium for enhanced services like Unlimited Sharing - share your dog’s location with unlimited family members and friends to increase the size of your search party.

When out of the 200 fr range am I able to see my dogs exact location or only the last location available

If you’re within 200 feet of each other, you can detect him directly via the Bluetooth link. Outside of 200 feet and the app will utilize a network of other users and devices to aid in your search.

Not what I expected

I really thought the tracker would have shown you on a map where the device was when your dog got lost but it does not. I was really disappointed with that .
