Their prices however keep going up. If you want to charge that much for your products at least have some decency and sell good stuff!!!

My geriatric rabbit has always been picky. He really only wants timothy hay and romaine lettuce. We haven’t tried any of the other hay varieties in a while so I thought I would give this brand a try. I like how the hay is packaged; it is loose enough that getting out a small amount isn’t hard work and you don’t end up getting stabbed or having a hay splinter. It is definitely quality fresh hay that smells good. My rabbit of course mostly just likes the pieces that have the seeds at the top. I did find a desiccated grasshopper in the bag (much better than a mouse I once found in another brand 😩), but it’s a natural product so that doesn’t bother me too much. I would definitely try more varieties from the brand.

First noting that my two bunnies usually eat timothy and orchard grass hay so I was trying oat hay as a treat / interesting addition to their diet. When I first opened the package I was prepared for them to give paws down because there were lots of long stems and fewer seed heads than I was expecting. I first offered it as a top dressing on their regular hay which got some interest with my “explorer” bun. My other bun is a “wait and see” type so not surprisingly she ignored it totally!! Gotta love her! 🙄. Next I stuffed oat hay into homemade toys; toilet paper tubes for each of them. Explorer bun first demolished his tube eating the hay and suspicious bun followed suit. Now, they are both looking for oat hay!! I found this oat hay to be very clean and dust free. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because even though my bunnies loved it, as a bunny parent I thought it should have more seed heads.

What I love most about this hay is the packaging. This is the first bag of hay I’ve been able to use the ziplock on immediately after opening. All the other hay brands I’ve tried are so overstuffed that the ziplock doesn’t work until I’ve fed a bunch of it. I love that it is easy to keep the hay fresh!

I appreciate it as a bedding mixed in with his regular bedding. It isn't as dusty as alfalfa hay. I do appreciate that a lot. When i need more hay i will be purchasing this product.

Grass to go!
The product arrived fresh. There was no mildew or mold. After a few sniffs, the rabbits seemed to enjoy it. The heads of the grass were seeded as advertised.
