We tried the Rabbit Hole Hay Timothy Flowers because one of my guinea pigs in particular is a huge fan of the flowers in her regular daily hay. She goes looking for the flowers and eats them first. There aren’t too many flowers in a handful of timothy hay, so I was excited to find a package of just the flowers as a special treat. Timothy flowers are high in protein and fiber, are good for digestion, and they’re fully natural – no added ingredients. Rabbit Hole Hay’s Timothy Flowers are grown and packaged in the USA. I like to give my pets natural, healthy treats like this. We gave some to five of our piggies. The two boys weren’t really excited about them, but two of the girls loved them. All three girls took them quickly and munched them right down, but two were “asking” for more right away. Overall, these are a great snack for small animals such as guinea pigs, rabbits and chinchillas, if you know they really enjoy their timothy flowers.

Each Timothy seed is about 2 inches long and they were in good form, smelled nice. For a rabbit or Guinea pig these would probably be a nice treat but my mouse didn’t see them as food.
