The dogs love it. And, it has fruits and vegetables included. Not overly expensive either.

I have been feeding all of my Great Danes, the Rachel Ray “Just 6” (now called “limited ingredients,”) lamb and rice for many years. They have always loved it just dry, or mixed with veggies and a bit of canned food. I have a very healthy line that I line breed sparingly, specifically for healthy longevity. My lines life expectancy is 14+ to 16+ years, and am hoping to have 20 year old Danes before MY life expectancy reaches it’s limit. Anyway, I do not, nor have I ever, believed in, or supported, “grain free” dog foods, but am a huge supporter of limited ingredients. For the first time, one of my 1 yr old, Gigolo, wasn’t a big fan of the RR Lamb and Rice, so he wasn’t eating much, and putting on his normal growth weight. And, oddly, he has always preferred his kibble plain and dry, or just with some veggies, as opposed to mixed with wet food. I needed to find something he liked without having to buy a separate food only for him. And I DO NOT separate my dogs at feeding time because that’s the easiest way to cause food aggression! They all eat together and play musical chairs with their bowls, etc., so feeding him something different from the others, would be impossible. Besides, it is difficult finding a good, limited ingredient, food that is not grain free. I bought a bag of RR Dish chicken and brown rice, ( also limited ingredients with healthy fruits and veggies, and no fillers or bi-products, etc,) mixed it in with their normal food and they all (including Gigolo) went nuts!! IoAs it is a bit pricier, I mixed 2- 28lb bags of RR Limited to 1- 28lb bag of RR Dish and it has been a GODSEND!! As I have 3 Danes, and a Pug, (yes they all get along and play together, wonderfully,) and go through between 84-120lbs of food every two weeks, I would be unable afford the Dish by itself, so it was a “no brainer,” to continue the mix, keeping everyone happy and healthy while not killing my budget! And, though, they all still get fresh fruits and veggies, I, now, can give them primarily as a treat instead of mixing, daily, into their dinner, since they all enjoy ALL the dried ones contained in Dish. And, for those who have something to say about the addition of rosemary extract……..Do your research!! It is a good and healthy addition to Dish, as it is, a moderate amount, contains anti-oxidants and can even aide in the prevention of some cancers in dogs and people. (Not suggesting folks should start eating kibble,) just that they do their homework, often, and thoroughly, before deciding to take away a food they really enjoy because of an ingredient someone told you wrong information about. And finally, if I were to ask for any changes in this product, it would be this…… -Start packaging it in 40-50lb bags with a bit of a price break for purchasing a bigger bag -Make a “small breed” version with more of the little kibbles found in Dish, currently. The pug loves it, too, but the bigger kibbles are hard for him to break and chew, so he just swallows them whole. Not a great solution -add a bit more of the fruits, veggies and meat chunks to the mix -send with orders, or put inside the bags, small sample packs of the other Dish flavors so we can see if the dogs enjoy the other flavors, as well. It’s not likely we can/would spend $50 to see if they liked any other flavor(s)….Even a generous coupon or a good size promo would work. For example, offer a minimum of 25% off a second bag of a different flavor with purchase of your regular flavor. We don’t like to eat the same thing day after day and I’m certain they would enjoy a flavor change now and then, so we need a good incentive to entice/allow us to try one of the other flavors Dish offers. Thanks for your time and for reading this review (book)

very good deal
I ordered this food and had it sent to my granddogs in Florida. It's their favorite. Loved that I could use the $20 coupon I received in the mail.

My dogs are very disappointed, regularly checking their dish for their favorite dog food, Rachael Ray Dish. Sadly, I will no longer purchase it since they updated the ingredients. They’ve now included rosemary extract. I suggest anyone interested do a quick internet search and you’ll see why I don’t buy any brand of dog food with that ingredient. This is a real disappointment because I like getting food for my dogs they really like. But Rachael Ray Dish is now out
