Soup bones not "long-lasting" as advertised

beware of ingredient change!

i have used and loved Chewy for over 16 years. Their customer service was always excellent. But i must warn of the Limited Ingredient Rachel Ray Lamb and Brown Rice

i have used and loved Chewy for over 16 years. Their customer service was always excellent. But i must warn of the Limited Ingredient Rachel Ray Lamb and Brown Rice recipe change. It went from 6 main ingredients to 9. No big deal, right? Well I wish that were the case for my 2 dogs. They began having diahrea every day for weeks until I figured out why it MIGHT be. I have used their live chat multiple times and it has always been professionally staffed. When Chewy ran out of the 6 ingredient and went to the 9, I wasnt informed. Once I figured it out, I signed up to receive an email when the 6 ingredient comes back in stock. I believe this was January 2023. I had tried other Rachel Ray recipe's and still the very loose stools. Bloodwork and stool samples art my vet showed no Guardia or parasites. But the loose stools always remained for MONTHS. Poor dogs and poor me having to wash my grass at every diahrea site in my yard. Well finally, last week, I got the email that it was back in stock. So I ordered it and after several live chats to make sure I get the 6 ingredient and not the 9 (in both my original order and autoships) I got the shipment today and IT'S THE 9 INGREDIENT AGAIN! I live chatted again (my 3rd session in 24 hours) and I was told I ordered the 9, not the 6. I debated a few times that I had NOT ordered the 9 until FINALLY the rep said that it was an issue on their end. That if you put a 6 ingredient bag in your cart or autoship, the picture of the bag changes to the 9 ingredient. Um...yeah, I wasn't lying to them. So after 30 plus minutes on live chat, the end result is no different that 7 months ago. NO 6 INGREDIENT FOR ME OR ANY OF YOU. They no longer will carry it. Darn shame that it has come to this. I was hoping that the email I got last week was true that it was back in stock. Not so. I sure wish I could figure out what food to use for my 2 dogs but none I have tried other than the 6 ingredient worked. So be warned, the recipe has changed for the worse in my dogs case anyway. I typically have the dog food ordered and saw the extra that'd come along, soup bones. Pups like them. For mum, glad only 6 pieces. The ingredients have me feeling like i just gave some 2 legged kids an entire bowl of Halloween candy. Not the kind of treats i typically give, but these'll come every 7 weeks, and for only a bit more in price than the bag of food by itself, it's fun.
