My dog weighs around 65 lbs. How many 8oz tubs do you recommend I feed him?

Answer by ChewyOct 01, 2018
For every 8 pounds of body weight, you'll want to serve one, 8 ounce tub. A dog weighing 65 pounds will have approximately 7 to 9 tubs per day.

Rachel Ray’s Nutrish Chicken Muttballs was a pleasant surprise. The product arrives in a container with both a foil seal and a lid. The muttballs looked like meatballs in gravy with carrots, spinach, and pasta. The test was whether or not my picky dog, Murray, would eat them. I was delighted to see Murray happily eating the muttballs and finished the entire bowl very quickly.

I want to start by saying my dogs have had other varieties of Rachel Ray wet food before that have gone over very well. Unfortunately this one was not a hit at our house. The dogs loved the gravy portion but left behind the actual “meatballs”. One dog did eventually go back and eat them later but overall not a hit. I do like easy to use and store containers - easy to portion and save some for later if needed.

I received the Rachael Ray Nutrish Chicken Muttballs for Dogs. I used the food as a topper on my senior dogs' regular kibble. They seemed to enjoy it and ate it eagerly. The food looked and smelled appetizing. However, it would not be feasible to use this food as the main food to feed your dogs as the back of the container states that 1 container per 10lb of body weight should be fed daily. For my larger dog that means I would be feeding him 8 containers a day which clearly is ridiculous. My other minor gripe with this food is that it comes in plastic packaging which can be hard to recycle. Overall the food was enjoyed by my dogs, but I wouldn't buy it again.

I tried this Rachael Ray product at home for my dachshund, who completely devoured it. She had no hesitation, jumping in and finishing the portion of the meal every time I put it in front of her. She’s not a picky eater, but the quality of the product was obvious from the beginning. It looks good, and obviously tasted good as well. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to any dog owner looking to provide a quality and nutritious meal for their dog.

Rachael Ray Nutrish Chicken Muttballs with Pasta is a hit with my dog! As soon as I opened it, Joaquin couldn’t wait to receive it. I mixed it with his dry food and he quickly ate all of it. He sometimes experiences sensitivities to foods, but not this one. No problems at all, and he loved the taste. He especially liked the thick broth!

He likes in served to him

My pup, doesn’t like the gravy, so I have to rinse the muttballs in sterilized hot water before feeding it to him. The only food he will eat so far.
