Transition Instructions

Slowly mix Nutrish® with his other food over a 5 - 10 day period until your dog is solely eating Rachael Ray™ Nutrish®. Once your dog is only eating Nutrish, keep in mind that feeding guidelines on the bag are a guide. Your dog's individual needs will vary based upon his size, his activity level and even his age. And overfeeding is a common source of digestive upset. Be sure to check your dog's weight and adjust feeding levels to maintain a healthy weight. And, don't forget to see your vet regularly.

  • Dogs hated it

I was looking for a cheaper but healthy alternative to my dogs regular food which is TASTE OF THE WILD-High Prarie formula. I saw good reviews for Rachel Rays food so I tried it. Well, my dogs wouldn't even touch it. I even tried mixing in canned food which they normally love. They went more than 24 hours without touching the food so I had to go back to TASTE OF THE WILD.

  • Very Godd Dog Food

    By on

Truthfully, I haven't tried the dog food, my son's dog seems to like though. Her name is Chloe and she is a Chihuahua and the small bits are right up her alley. She will get a mouthful like a chipmunk and take them to her bed or crate, spit them out and eat them one at a time. She is a hoot to watch!

This was our first time trying this food and all five of our dogs loved it. I didn't have time to transition them from their old food (because I think there was a problem with it) and did not notice any GI upset. I bought the chicken and the beef and hope that will keep them from getting bored with the food.

  • Good dog food

    By on

It's hard today to sort through all the dog foods available. What's "natural" "organic" "grain free". When I look at the label for this brand, it's a clean dog food and my dogs like it. All the other titles don't necessarily mean much. I like that U.S. farm raised chicken is the number one ingredient.

  • Good Dog Food so far

    By on

My three dogs were having trouble eating a dog food they have enjoyed for years due to the new addition of something they added to the formula in my last bag.. Chewy was so helpful with this matter as always. I Am trying Rachael Ray Nutrish and they seemed to be liking it ok so far .. I had heard good reviews about it when I decided to try it... The bag does come in a very large size.. So should last longer than my previously brand dog food.. Just a little heavier to manage but that is ok..

  • Great dog food

    By on

I had to switch my dogs cold turkey when I ran out of pro plan. None of my 6 dogs ages 2 to 21 had any tummy or potty issues. They love it and my 18 year old sheltie is eating better. Great value too. Thank you Chewy!!!

  • Nutrish dog food

Tried this food along with mixing it with homemade dog food. We have five dogs and have no problems with any of them leaving any food in the bowls.. seems to create less gas as well than the previous dry food they were on.. I had ordered the chicken flavor FYI.

  • Great Food

    By on

Once my dogs moved off of puppy chow I wanted to buy them a healthy food that wouldn't break the bank, so after shopping around I landed on this brand. The dogs and I couldn't be happier with it. One of the best things is i can switch flavors back and forth without an upset belly, so they don't get bored with their food! Love the brand, love the price, and we love Chewy!

  • Makes life easier!

    By on

This is the second time I've used Chewy.com and I signed up for the auto ship this time. The prices are as good as the grocery store and it saves you from lugging around heavy bags of dog food. We have 5 dogs so we do go through a lot of dog food. I still have to pick up some at the store but it does make life a little easier.

  • Awesome Ingredients

Our dog devours this food. She loves it and we are happy to give her something that she doesn't turn her nose at. It is a bonus that the ingredients are good for her and not bad for her health.
