Questions & Answers

Concerning PEAK wet food...IS it from Thailand OR as the description reads made from U.S. farm raised...I'm confused. Please elaborate on the Thailand aspect of this product please. More specific info as what a PRODUCT of Thailand actually is in reference to. Thank You.
Answer by ChewyNov 16, 2019
Rachael Ray makes their wet food in a state-of-the-art pet food manufacturing facility located in Thailand. The meats in their recipes generally come from the USA, depending on availability. Some other sources can include vitamin packs possibly sourced in Europe, Venison and Duck may come from Canada, and Lamb is sourced in New Zealand. The taurine in their recipes is sources in Japan. The ingredients in this recipe are sent to Thailand for cooking, processing, and canning.

Does this come in a case of 9 or 16? It says both.
Answer by ChewyOct 04, 2018
This food comes in a case of 9 trays.

I need a canned food that is low fat for digestive problem dogs
Answer by ChewyMay 13, 2018
Each variety in the pack has a 5% Fat content (minimum). Due to your pet's diagnosed condition, we recommend consulting your Veterinarian to see what would be a good fit for your little one's current treatment plan.

How much sodium does this have?
Answer by ChewyDec 26, 2018
The sodium in this variety pack is as follows: Wetlands Recipe with Chicken & Duck in Rustic Gravy Wet Dog Food 0.15% as fed, Wild Ridge Recipe with Chicken & Lamb in Savory Gravy Wet Dog Food 0.15% as fed, and Recipe with Chicken & Beef in Hearty Gravy Wet Dog Food 0.12% as fed.

Picky Eater

We have a small mix breed (part Chihuahua?) that is very picky (previous owners fed her pizza and whatever else the kids gave her, so I don't understand her pickiness). She sometimes doesn't want to eat the "healthy" dry food that we (after spending much time reviewing) had been feeding her. She would sometimes just leave it in her bowl and not eat that day. So, again after research on health wet food, I purchased this to mix with her dry food. I usually put a tablespoon+ with her dry food and mix it up. The gravy makes that easy! She loves it. I'm not ready to move her completely over to wet food (it would be a lot of food each day) and I think this works great with the crunchy food (that I think helps keep her teeth cleaner).

Layla likes...

My 12 lb Chihuahua likes peak because the flavors and the gravy and they're good bite size for her and I agree that for her to chew her food instead of eating a pate at this point is better for her it keeps her interest.

Made my dog sick Peak Wetlands

Bought this for my dog, tried the "wetland Recipe". Gave dog 1/2 of the container mixed with dry. Well, he thew up rather quickly. replaced the dry in the bowl. next day, tried the Wetland Recipe again. Same result. Dog threw up again. We have used the RR can of Nutrish and that he had no problems with. Will Not try to use the other 8 containers of PEAK

Bailey Loved IT

I bought this for my baby Bailey. I had to put her on pain meds for arthritis in her hips and back and could not get her to take her meds any other way. She liked this food a lot. In the end I had to put Bailey down. She is now at the Rainbow Bridge running and playing waiting on me. I miss my baby so bad. I had her cremated and am waitng on her to come home. Love you bunches Bailey.

Maybe Its because its Pate

I ordered the Rachael Ray Nutrish in an ongoing attempt to find something my tablefood loving dog would eat. Wow bot my dogs went crazy over them. I have to say when I opened them my first thought was to pop one in the microwave and eat it myself it looked so appetizing. Being on a budget I tried to still go with the Rachael Ray brand but get the canned meals-I could half them and feed both dogs. That didn't work. The turned their noses up at the 3 flavors. I'm thinking maybe its the pate texture that they don't like. I'll reorder the Rachael Ray Nutrish and feed it sparingly. It looks like something on my dinner plates and probably tastes that way too. God forbid my dogs would realize they are merely dogs thus dog food DuH!

Dog enjoys it

Tried this for the first time and my dog seems to like it. I'm able to get two meals out of one because she is not a big wet food fan. Great price helps...
