This food does not contain dyes, and uses mixed tocopherols as a natural alternative to synthetic preservatives.
Is the soybean meal genetically modified or engineered?
Answer by • Jun 13, 2023
Due to the mainstream use of bioengineering and the quality, safe food produced using these ingredients and techniques, Rachael Ray® Nutrish® products may include some ingredients made using bioengineering techniques.
Bioengineered foods have been used for decades and are deemed safe by the FDA and the World Health Organization. They care about the wellness and safety of their consumers and their pets and would never offer a product that wasn’t deemed safe to consume by the FDA.
Our Dalmatian has had different foods over the past 7.5 years since we adopted him has a 2.5 year old. Some of the products have been good including Rachael Ray Nutrish. Dalmatians are known to need special culinary parameters. For whatever reason, we settled on a different brand from Chewy.
Our dog's stoolies in recent months were mushy, sometimes discolored, and occasionally having a mucous-like substance. After a few trips to the vet, the solution always seemed to work temporarily. Since our Dal is now older, our vet suggested we switch from our tried-and-true.
Our first attempt was with RR Nutrish since (1) we knew it was nutritionally correct, (2) we had used it before with success, and (3) we could buy a small bag to try while on vacation.
The success we had gave us confidence to change our subscription. He still loves it, and he is consistently normal again.

My Dogs Love this
I've tried several kinds of dog food, from the high end to the not so high end. I don't want them to get board with their food so we switch once in a while. I always seem to go back to this because my dogs love it. Their coats shine and look great after eating this for a few months. They don't have digestive problems. The vet did say that my 5lb dog needed something for dental health as she seemed to have a excessive amount of plaque on her teeth after eating smaller kibble. So we give her Hill Science Dental Health. We'll see how that does at her next vet appointment.

Love the Product
I have a year and a half Corgi and he loves his Rachel Ray dog food. He digests the food well and his waste is very solid. No problem adjusting and after a one cup feeding, morning and evening he seems quite content and very mellow after his night feeding, which is abnormal for a Corgi. He still loves to play hard during the day. Highly satisfied and will continue to order in the future.

Favorite Brand, Not So Favorite Batch!
Bought 2-40 lbs bags of one of their favorites just less than 2 months ago, but the second bag is all moldy! I noticed it was not completely sealed and leaking greasy stuff, but thought nothing of it until I opened the bag.

Digestive issues for my Pomsky
This food worked for a while when my dog Freyja was a puppy but one day she started getting bloody stool, we took her to the vet and began to add anything to make it go away. Medicine, boiled chicken, probiotics, warm water, nothing was working and her stool was still bloody or she went in the house. Every summer Freyja would also have bloody runs as well thanks to this food. It wasn't until later that I found out that the food had various lawsuits for making dogs sick. So I knew I had to switch, as soon as I switched food my dog's stool went back to normal. So you want bloody stool get this food. I'm sure your vet will love the money they get from this food.

New food for the crew
Tried this food because the old food was not working for them any longer.. They seem to like it a lot better. It’s somewhat smaller bits and they are waiting for it when meal time rolls around

open bag - I have no problem with the food.
This bag arrive with a cut down the side. Someone cut the side of the bag and instead of putting tape on the cut they just tossed it in the box and shipped it to me.
