I’m always cautious with new treats, cause my dogs are pretty sensitive digestion wise, but this actually seemed to help firm up their stool probably the probiotics. It was a very good product, but quite spendy so I just broke them in half so my dogs could have one each day.

First thing I noticed when you open the crinkly treat bag is the smell. Like a strong version of old damp hay in a barn. However, it must smell great to the dogs because they started sitting and drooling. Fed these treats between meals (once every other day), they were an instant hit with my berniedoodle and bichon. The texture is like prickly leather, dry, not too oily, and little bit flaky (there will be crumbs). The smell will stay on your hands. Not easy to cut with regular scissors. Took my 70-ish lbs berniedoodle 6 seconds to chow down 1 stick, while it took 11 minutes for my 12 lbs bichon. It made their stool a little bit softer, but not too bad with 1 stick every other day. I can imagine 2 sticks a day would create cake batter stool. My only downside for incorporating this into my dogs' lifestyle is that they do not last very long for how demanding my dogs want a piece of this treat. But again my berniedoodle just inhales food like a vaccum.
