What size should I get for a small 6 pound chihuahua

To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's chest girth (circumference) and neck girth (circumference) to compare with the attached sizing chart. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs and to measure for the neck girth you'll measure at the broadest part of the neck. If the dog happens to be in between sizes it's then recommended to select the bigger size.

The x-small has a width of ½ inch, the small is ⅝ inch, the medium is ⅘ inch and the large and x-large have a width of 1 inch.

VERY small-size up!

The provided measurements are not accurate-- the small will technically fit a dog with a 19 inch chest, but it isn't long enough if that makes sense, and the bands are very narrow. I recommend if you are towards the bigger end of a size, get the next size up! It is a lovely harness otherwise, it is very cute and obviously durable & well made.

Made well...runs small

Unfortunately it does not run true to size and I went by the chart.Im returning it but for bigger size because it very nice...strong...very well made ...definately love all that...need to size up one or two sizes. The small was what I ordered using size chart....it looks like the size of a toy poodle.

The only harness for us!

We've sized our puppy up from an X-Small to Small - our last dog was a Medium - we just can't quit this harness. Red Dingo is just the best in my opinion - everything is such good quality, holds up so well, and I love the freedom they give you to adjust in 3 places - just makes it so much easier to get a great fit and to keep your pet comfy and safe.

Great Harness

Love this harness for our 88lb lab. We use it as his "bathing suit" so we can easily grab him when it's time to go home from the beach or swimming hole. The harness is sturdy, easy to get on and off, and the clasps are finger friendly. We ordered the XL and it fits well. Love that it doesn't chaff anywhere unlike his old one. Super happy with this purchase.

Great harness

My dog weighs 93 pounds and is still growing. This harness will adjust as he grows. It is strong. I like to clips on the sides for easy removal. Highly recommend.

Harnesses for the Cats

I have trackers on the cats in case they escape the yard. I learned the hard way that trackers and water bowls don't mix so the cats wear these harnesses. Highly recommend them.
