I've purchased Red Dingo tags for all of my pets for years because they last. The engraving doesn't get worn away, the colors stay fantastic, and they are solid. This tag is no different. It looks fantastic and I don't have to worry that, if my pup got out, someone wouldn't be able to read her name and our phone number.

The trouble with small tags

The tag is the perfect size for my chihuahua and seems like a quality item except there really needs to be some color contrast on the engraving because it is so

The tag is the perfect size for my chihuahua and seems like a quality item except there really needs to be some color contrast on the engraving because it is so small that simply having silver engraving on a silver back makes it impossible to read unless you have 20/20 vision and hold it at just the right angle to catch the light and even then it’s difficult to read. If the back was dark and the engraving light or vise versa it would be easier to actually read the info. Honestly don’t know if I’m going to bother putting it on his collar because it won’t serve much function beyond decoration. Really wish there were more legible options for this size tag because I feel like it was a waste of money.

Difficult to connect

Doesnnot come prepared connected to the loop. Very difficult to attach to tag itself, and then dogs collar. Must have strong dexterity in order to put together.
