Rainbow holds up, not the engraving

We like this Red Dingo rainbow ID tag. The front has held up well for almost a year now given our dog likes to lick his tags. The engraving on the back is not deep

We like this Red Dingo rainbow ID tag. The front has held up well for almost a year now given our dog likes to lick his tags. The engraving on the back is not deep and has gotten worn and if he were to get lost someone would not be able to read the engraving anymore. We have another engraved ID tag on him as well (silver and glittery purple paw print) which is also not deep but still readable. For my 20lb poodle mix I would prefer it were just a little larger in size.

Purchased this dog tag as I thought it would match any color collar I wanted to buy for my dog. I didn't realize that Chewy also sells an easy to attach clip which I would have purchased had I known about it. This would have saved me a trip to the hardware store to purchase a new clip.
