how many lines of type each side? what size type?

You can add up to 5 lines of text on the front and up to 5 lines of text on the back. Expert engravers will make sure your tag looks great. Engraving will be automatically centered and sized to fit.

Is it thick enough to not wear out ?I have been through 5 in two months I need something durable!

This tag is heavy duty, thick and durable. The dimensions for the small are 13.77 millimeters (0.5 inches) width x 22.2 millimeters (0.9 inches) height. The Medium is 20.4 millimeters (0.8 inches) width x 33.2 millimeters (1.3 inches) height. The large is 25.8 millimeters (1 inch) width x 42 millimeters (1.7 inches) height.

How big is the hole where the tag hooks

The hole for the Small measures 0.105 inches. The hole for the Medium measures 0.135 inches. The hole for the Large measures 0.16 inches.

Engraving doesn't look like it will last

While the tag itself is very attractive, the engraved info is slight and I feel like I have to check it weekly to ascertain if it is still legible.

I was pleased to receive our new Dog ID tag! It is solid and large enough for all the important information that we needed on it. I like the larger and more heavy duty split ring. Our dog is a Samoyed with lots of fur. Should he ever get away from us, someone could easily see his tag to get him home to us ASAP. Thanks!
