This collar is made from polyester PVC to be durable and strong. However, a determined, aggressive chewer pup may be able to damage the collar.

how long is the x-large and the xx-large?

The XX-Small is 1/2 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 8 to 9¾ inches. The X-Small is 5/8 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 9½ to 11¾ inches. The Small is 4/5 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 11 to 12 ½ inches. The Medium is 4/5 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 13½ to 16½ inches. The Large is 1 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 15½ to 19½ inches. The X-Large is 1 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 19 to 22¾. The XX-Large is 1 inch wide and fits dogs with a neck size of 22 to 26 inches.

If my dog's neck is 13 inches (in between small and medium) should I go up or down a size?

This is a good and strong collar.

This is a very strong collar for Axel my baby Golden Retriever. He is terrible strong and pulls a lot on me when I walk him. Glad to have a strong collar.

We have a golden retriever puppy. I ordered this collar for her 3/6/24. It ended up being too big for her so we waited until about 3/28 (end of March) for it to

We have a golden retriever puppy. I ordered this collar for her 3/6/24. It ended up being too big for her so we waited until about 3/28 (end of March) for it to fit her. At first, it is a nice feeling material, the color was bright and pretty, etc. But, after about 6-7 weeks, it was fading badly, and one of the bolt things fell out which made the collar unable to wear. After the bolt fell out, her fur would get caught and then she was always scratching at the collar. Super bummed as I had already ordered the next sizes up for her so we had them ready to go as she grew.

I have a mature Beagle who is happiest when he's dirty digging. Most collars are difficult to clean but this one is rubbery and easily washed with Dawn and water
