Nice quality food, large pre-formed chunks of meat with plenty of pumpkin pieces. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I prefer actual shredded/chopped pieces of meat instead of the formed chunks, but the chunks are clearly quality meat. Many people are not aware that Thailand is a great source for quality pet food. My dogs love it, and the pumpkin is so good for their digestion.

I was looking for a food that I could give my senior Pitbull. He is 11 years old and suffers with IBD so his tummy is very sensitive. I noticed his appetite was down and quite frankly I think he was getting bored with the same old dry food. After doing much research I found Red Barn Hearty stew canned dog food. It is a highly rated clean high quality wet food. I like the fact that it is grain free. I selected the chicken sweet potato and pumpkin recipe because I knew that the pumpkin is a great fiber source which would be beneficial for his IBD issues. The ingredients are wholesome and natural. I was surprised at how much he loved the flavor! (Bonus) My other two dogs can't get enough of it they absolutely love it. I would highly recommend this to anybody who's looking for a natural hearty grain-free canned food to either feed fresh out of the can or to use as a mix with their dry.

My Dogs absolutely loved this dog food. I mixed it with with their dry food, my dogs love the combination of dry and wet plus it is better for their teeth than just giving them pure wet all the time. I love that this product is more meat than stew unlike most brands out there. I have seen alot of stews that have very little meat and is just mostly gravy...this is just the opposite. There is very little dog food smell to it as well which was a surprise. Even my picky eater, Daisy, loved this food...she is the boxer/cur mix. The only set back is that it is a little pricey.

Only dropped a star because it’s kind of hard to mix but definitely needs a good stir to evenly distribute the “gravy”.

We’re slowly introducing the Redbarn Grain Free Chicken & Pumpkin Stew into our pup’s routine, and so far it’s going great. I love that it already includes pumpkin, so we no longer have to add puréed pumpkin ourselves. The food had no strong smell when I opened the can, and while I was a little surprised by the pebble-sized chunks, it was easy to scoop out. Most importantly, Lucy loved it. We’re still in the early stages of the transition, but she’s had no issues so far.

Unfortunately, this wasn't a good time to introduce this food to Sophie. She hasn't been feeling well & hasn't been eating. I took her to the vet and she has a bad Urinary Tract infection, which caused her kidneys to start shutting down. She is currently hospitalized & will need to be on a special diet to support better kidney function. Consequently, I don't have an accurate review because she wouldn't eat the stew. 😕
