Solid, very secure packaging. Scale broken.

My scale was shipped in the same box with a very heavy bag of litter. The corner of the box was slightly crunched, I was worried the condition of the scale as small

My scale was shipped in the same box with a very heavy bag of litter. The corner of the box was slightly crunched, I was worried the condition of the scale as small scales tend to be very sensitive. I was very impressed with the quality of the packaging. Once I saw the quality of the packaging, I was not concerned about the condition of the scale. However, when I attempted to the turn the scale on and error code appeared.. I followed the instructions to reset the scale, still error code. I will have to return the scale unfortunately. I hope the next one works.

Easy to use

I weigh my Green Cheek Conures 2-3 times a week. This scale and perch are the perfect size. Very easy to use.

Great price but limited

I am happy with digital scale price but was disappointed with the removable perch design. It slips and slides on the smooth plastic so there is no way to secure

I am happy with digital scale price but was disappointed with the removable perch design. It slips and slides on the smooth plastic so there is no way to secure the perch when using it, and that can frighten the bird if the perch moves while trying to step onto it. This is especially problematic, if you're trying to get a frightened bird to use a scale. I'm surprised the manufacturer didn't create notches or something to stop the perch from slipping. I stopped trying to use the scale perch and taught my birds to step onto the platform part instead of the perch. Other than that, I believe the scale is easy to calibrate. (However, it does seem very delicate so I handle it very carefully.)

Works great

Bought this for my green cheek conure. Works great. The perch that comes with it fits on the scale as pictured. The directions for using the scale are easy to understand
