Redmon Precision Digital Pet Scale, Large

This is amazingly consistent and easy to use. It's large enough for medium-size dogs. My dog is small, about 20 lb, but from its size I'd guess it's probably good for dogs up to 60lb, if they sit. Maybe larger. We had to put our dog on a diet. She started at 24 lb and we were targeting something less than 20 lb. We weighted her once a week, first thing in the morning, and the scale was consistent and easy to use, even if the puppy moved around a little bit. The consistent readings were invaluable, because small changes mean a lot in a dog that size. But she did lose the weight and the scale kept us from worrying if we overfed her for awhile or if we underfed her by accident. When changing brands of kibble it's difficult to get the right amounts. The scale let us know if we were feeding her too much, too little, or just the right amount. While consistency is more important than accuracy in a scale, this scale had both. If I weighted her in the morning and then took her to the vet, the vet's measurement was within an ounce of our measurement. It's a great investment and worth every penny, particularly if you have a small dog where small changes in weight are significant.

It is easy to use. Well made and accurate.
