Is this accurate enough to track weight of newborn puppies

This scale has a minimum weight capacity of 3.5 ounces (0.10 kg) and maximum weight capacity of 55 pounds (25 kg). It has a graduation of 0.5 ounces (0.01 kg).

Can you turn the memory feature off. It is not helpful when you have 2 cats

The unit is meant for both weighing and ongoing monitoring (checking progression up or down). To clear the memory remove one of the batteries for 10 seconds and it will clear to zero.

What is the maximum weight the scale can measure? My vet recommended my cat lose a pound or two (he is currently approximately 16lb).

Not precise enough

I take care of very tiny kittens and this scale does not give me enough information about their weight. I am disappointed that this scale does not show the grams

I am also disappointed that this scale only shows weight after 3.5 ounces . I will have to buy another scale . Also it is tricky to find the exact center where the sensor is . If the kitten moves about then the weight is not recurred properly

The Redmon Scale is a replica of my old scale which lasted through three dogs. It is hard to beat it's performance.

I do not recommend this product

I tried to use it to weigh my cats but by the time you turn it on, wait for the 8888s to disappear, display the 000s, place you cat on the scale and wait for it

I tried to use it to weigh my cats but by the time you turn it on, wait for the 8888s to disappear, display the 000s, place you cat on the scale and wait for it to run its process, your cat has bounded off the platform and you get a false reading. I've tried it a number of times. Still can't figure out what the unit button does. A waste of money.

Seems to work reasonably well. I have not checked the accuracy, and not sure if it's worth the price. One glaring issue I found was, pushing the 'Hold" button, which sets the weight to memory, changes the displayed weight. The button is situated on the same housing, (although to the front}, as the weighing area. Putting pressure on the 'Hold" button changes the weight. Am I doing something wrong?

about 8 pounds off weight

So I was really excited about this scale as I have 10 puppies that I don’t wanna take to the vet every two weeks to have them weighed, so I can know how much dewormer

So I was really excited about this scale as I have 10 puppies that I don’t wanna take to the vet every two weeks to have them weighed, so I can know how much dewormer to give them. I put a 5 lb weight on it and it registered as 4 pounds. I thought “okay one pound off that’s not so bad” so I then weighed my 43 pound dog (just had her weighed at the vet a week ago)and her weight came out as 51 pounds. I can’t use something that’s that far off to weigh my puppies because then I could give them the wrong amount of dewormer and overdose them. However CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS AWESOME. They refunded my money right away and didn’t even ask for a return on the product. I love chewy so much and I love them even more now, knowing that if I ever have a problem with an item I will have no trouble getting it returned/refunded.

I purchased this scale as I need to keep an accurate weight on my dog. The scale does not weigh accurately and is almost 1/2 lb off regardless if the item you’re

I purchased this scale as I need to keep an accurate weight on my dog. The scale does not weigh accurately and is almost 1/2 lb off regardless if the item you’re weighing is 12 oz or 15 lbs. The weight also does not remain consistent and bounces all over the board. I have attempted numerous weights of items that are a guaranteed specified weight and they do not weigh accurately at all. The scale’s weight jumps around within a .6 - .8 oz difference, this is a significant difference in weight for a small pet. There is also no calibration to adjust the weight to weigh accurately. Do not waste time contacting the company as they just send you a copy of the instruction manual that one has already received with the product. It’s not a user issue, it’s a product issue.
