1 Customer Questions
Can this be used in an aquarium with shrimp, snails, and live plants?
Answer by • Feb 12, 2025
Reeflowers PH Minus product can be used in an aquarium with shrimps, snails and live plants. However, it is a product that should be used with caution. This product reduces carbonate hardness and reduces the pH value. Therefore, it should be used with caution and in low dosage in tanks with very low Kh values.
In addition, since sudden additions can cause sudden pH changes that can stress sensitive species, it is important not to come into direct contact with the aquarium inhabitants during addition. For this reason, the product should be added to a point where the current is high or if it is desired to be safer; the appropriate dosage should be added to some water taken from the aquarium, mixed and then this water should be added slowly to the aquarium.
