I really like the holistic approach with REGAL dog food. The kibble bites are very rich looking and small which is fine with my girls - they chew their food. I tried the grain free red meat recipe in a 4 lb bag. I would not get the grain free again - I don’t see a need for a grain free diet. I would definitely buy REGAL kibble again just like this only with healthy grains if the price is reasonable. I’m very impressed with the care that went into making this dog food to make sure it is balanced blend of meats, fats & healthy vegetables. It has natural sources of glucosamine for joint health ( yay I have a big girl) , probiotics for gut health, omega 3 fatty acids for skin and coat ( my other girl is itchy- I hope this helps) and New Zealand green mussels. And this is a family owned business. I will be looking into buying more REGAL dog food :)

I’m always on the hunt for a high-quality kibble that all three of my dogs will enjoy—and this one is a total winner! One of my pups is notoriously picky, but even he devoured this without hesitation. The kibble size is perfect for small or mini breeds, which makes it easy to chew and digest. I really appreciate the natural formula—no artificial junk, which gives me peace of mind. The taste clearly impressed all of my dogs. They were literally amazed and couldn’t get enough of it! I’ve included a picture comparing this kibble to what we were using before, and you can see how well-suited it is for smaller mouths. If you have small dogs and want something that’s both healthy and dog-approved, this is absolutely worth trying!

My dogs really liked this food. I mixed it in with their old food so they wouldn’t get any stomach problems and they seemed to be very excited to try something new

My dogs really liked this food. I mixed it in with their old food so they wouldn’t get any stomach problems and they seemed to be very excited to try something new. The pebbles are very tiny and seemed to be good for my dogs GI system. One thing I did not like is that it’s grain free. After doing a bunch of research, I do not want to feed my dogs grain free but that is each persons choice of course. Only reason it’s a 4 star is because of that

I have an incredibly picky 95 lb golden retriever with a sensitive stomach. He usually turns his nose up at most dry food and even toppers don’t entice him. He currently has free access to 3 cups of dry food/day (often it takes him 3 days to finish it) and he gets one can of food with added fish oil and collagen powder in the evening. With his sensitive stomach I thought it would be good to try the water buffalo and lamb Regal dog food. I like that it has probiotics to help digestion, omega 3’s and glucosamine. With a large breed dog I do everything I can to promote joint health so it’s always nice to see glucosamine in his food. As Milo doesn’t generally like to eat his dry food I offered a small amount of this food on the side with his regular food. To my surprise he inhaled it and licked the bowl clean. He has a very sensitive stomach so I was pleasantly surprised when he had no gastrointestinal issues the next day. I’ve since been slowly increasing the amount daily while decreasing his previous food. He continues to finish all that I offer and lick the bowl clean and has not had any GI issues at all. Definitely impressed and happy to have found a food he likes, with beneficial additives that doesn’t bother his stomach. Definitely a win for Milo

Wholesome Ingredients: The first thing I noticed was the ingredient list – real red meat (water buffalo listed first, lamb was fifth) as the first ingredient, supported by a balanced blend of whole grains veggies, and essential vitamins. It feels great knowing I’m feeding my dog something that supports overall health without any fillers or by-products. Shiny Coat & High Energy: After a few weeks on this food, my dog’s coat is noticeably shinier and softer. She’s also more energetic on our daily walks, and I can tell she’s feeling great from the inside out. Palatability & Digestibility: My pup can be a bit picky, but she took to this food immediately. I also noticed her digestion improved – less gassiness and firmer stools (which is always a win for us pet parents!).

We have two medium sized dogs and one of them is a very picky eater and has a sensitive stomach. We tried Regal Pet Food red meat recipe grain free Buffalo and Lamb. The food was introduced slowly by mixing it in their previous kibble. Both dogs ate the new food with enthusiasm. They seemed to like the taste and it was easy on their digestive system. This food has high quality ingredients and we feel good about feeding it to our dogs. The kibbles are very small is size and also work nicely as training treats. Also, the food comes in a stay-fresh re-closable bag! The food has a mild and pleasant aroma. We give it two thumbs up.
