Hanging compact size

I really like the idea of this feeder. However, my hens don't really use it. If I pull some of the food out with my finger they will stick their beaks in to eat

I really like the idea of this feeder. However, my hens don't really use it. If I pull some of the food out with my finger they will stick their beaks in to eat what I kind of pulled out. I'm not giving up on it. I love that you can close off the holes and has a lid on top.
