Love this chicken waterer for a few chickens
The 1gallon waterer is the perfect size for my orange 6 chicken coop that has a few full-sized chickens in it. Easy to put together, although you have to drill holes
The 1gallon waterer is the perfect size for my orange 6 chicken coop that has a few full-sized chickens in it. Easy to put together, although you have to drill holes to use the mounting hardware. I put out one of each type of waterer that comes included and so far they prefer the cupped one. No leaks if you tighten the screw enough and can easily put caulk around it if needed to further prevent leaks. I’m hoping since no light penetrates this one, that it will stay cleaner than my other algae ridden ones that are clear. So far the water has lasted more than a few days vs my other hanging ones would have to refill every other day because they swing it around and it dumps water everywhere. This one is mounted in place with hooks so it’s way more stable.y chickens took right to it. So so happy with this waterer.

Which in Turn has led to this product’s Longevity. This company has thought of everything! On the top it is peaked to deter perching. I am beyond excited for this product and company! I would advise any serious chicken Owner/farmers to reconsider the utilization of other products from other companies And look at this companies’s Multiple products, you will not be disappointed!
A perfect size for a small flock

I made a 5 gallon bucket waterer but it is too heavy/big to hang and far too big for my flock of 6. This is a perfect little size. I will not be able to use it until spring but already happy with the size and the option to use cups or nipples. I am going to try the cups first as we have never used these before. I can already tell that the shape of the top will be successful in keeping the hens off. I have always been happy with RentACoop products and can already tell that this will be equally good quality.

This waterer hangs securely, can hold a good amount of water and has freed me up to do “other chores”! Lol! I recommend this waterer for small coops for clean fresh water for your girls!

I like that this can be mounted, and that it has an anti roost lid. Holds a decent amount of water and is easy to keep clean. I just have to get my girls used to
