kept things clean in brooder

i purchased this for my quail chicks. I bought a quail water and it always was so dirty from food or poop. I was hoping this would work. My first one purchased, leaked no matter what i did. . Chewy sent me a new one without needing to return the non-working one and it works great!!!! I use a normal quail water for the first week then change to this nipple water(add) it takes a bit for them to be strong enough to get water from pecking but they figure it out and it is so much cleaner and no worrying if the little birds will be out of water by the time im off work.
Smaller than imagined
This doesn’t work well unless you can support the water up to a ledge or bar. The bungee doesn’t keep the watered from slipping down otherwise. Will Likely return

This didn't work for my girls. When it arrived my chicks were a few weeks old. They would nock over the water running around their brooder. Since the top doesn't snap shut, they would get water everywhere. They learned how to use it pretty quickly, but one chick would work really hard to get enough water to drink from the little red cup, and another chick would come by and drink it. Because the top doesn't seal, I'm rating 3 stars for design flaw.

Clean chick brooder!
I use this in my brooder for chicks when they are about 1 week old until they go outside and it is amazing. Works great and keeps the brooder clean.

It made my life easier.
I had to clean out the bedding from their other waterer 3 and 4 times per day. . I worried they couldn't get enough water from the nipple but they learned quickly
