Can't reach food

This works OK for a single chicken in quarantine. It does prevent food from being spilled and flung. There is about an inch of food at the bottom that is unreachable

This works OK for a single chicken in quarantine. It does prevent food from being spilled and flung. There is about an inch of food at the bottom that is unreachable though. Also because the port is just big enough for their heads no one will use it if I put it out with the whole flock. It blocks too much vision when they put their heads in and they get worried someone is sneaking up on them. When the newly adopted chicken was introduced to the flock I hoped to use it as a second feeding station to prevent bullying. But no, no one uses it then. They all fight over the main feeder which is still covered and requires them to stick their heads in, but the openings are bigger.
