I like the concept but I’m afraid that a mice might be able to crawl in the feed bucket. Have you had any issues with mice living in the feed bucket?

I know this intended for chickens but would this work well with ducks? I’m attempting to find something to keep my goat out of my chicken and ducks food.

Would this work well for bantam breeds? I have silkies and polish chichens, which are smaller than average. Will they be able to reach the food easily?

This product will work for all chickens. It can be placed on the ground or elevated higher. The port opening is about 2 inches from the bottom.

Is this feeder better for pellets or would it work well for a scratch feed as well?

A+ Feeder, highly recommend!

This feeder is wonderful. It only took the chickens about five minutes to figure it out (we followed the acclimation instructions included), and with four girls

This feeder is wonderful. It only took the chickens about five minutes to figure it out (we followed the acclimation instructions included), and with four girls we only need to fill it once every couple weeks or so. No pest problems AT ALL, no wasted food AT ALL. Worth every penny.

Dry Clean Food!

This is perfect for my chickens! No longer do they step into their feed pan, or accidentally track droppings into it or flip it over. No more food turning to mush

This is perfect for my chickens! No longer do they step into their feed pan, or accidentally track droppings into it or flip it over. No more food turning to mush when it rains. They love it! The rooster tends to seem a little nervous about having his head covered/not being able to see around, when he eats from it, so I still put a small amount of food out for him to easily get to as he keeps an eye on everything lol. This is great!

This one really does keep the food dry, plus other creatures don't seem to be able to get to the food in this. I liked the first one so much, I bought a second one.

Works great!

My chicks picked up the concept right away, I just left a few crumbs of a leftover biscuit on the ledge and let them figure it out for themselves. I have 30 plus

My chicks picked up the concept right away, I just left a few crumbs of a leftover biscuit on the ledge and let them figure it out for themselves. I have 30 plus chickens and couldn't feel comfortable leaving them alone for more than a day. I have the time to see how long each fill up will last and whether I need to purchase another feeder. Haven't seen my ducks using it yet, but only put it in my coop two days ago. I am very satisfied with this product and my husband is happy that we can now take some weekend trips.

Last night I watched a rat crawl out of the feeder, so it is definitely not rat-proof. Now I have to find some way to cover the openings at night--or maybe find some caps to cover the openings. And, if you have sprinklers in your lawn, remember to turn the openings away from the direction of the spray (I learned the hard way).

Best chicken feeder investment! We own two of these. Our chickens had no problems figuring out how to eat out of this feeder. We leave it sitting out and the food never gets wet from rain. There is no waste from the chickens, and the food does not get dirty. We have about 30 chickens and only fill our two feeders up weekly. If you have chickens then you need this feeder! My only regret is not getting one sooner.
