Missing critical Part

I was happy to get this nice looking unit, looks quite well made. I carefully unpacked and placed all on the coffee table to take a nice picture. Carefully read instructions and install a phone app, and charged it. It is so easy to set up, easy to mount with all included hardware. The app quickly connected it to my wifi, then halted saying "install SIM card to continue". It was missing, the app simulation showed it was in a blue envelope, inside a blue folder w/ manuals, which was not in the package. I contacted Reolink tech support which refused to help, saying it was the seller's duty to handle missing or broken items. PLEASE AVOID REOLINK, very poor customer service. So sad, the SIM could have simply been mailed.

I was excited to recieve this product, unpacked it, only to notice that this set up doesn't work without separately purchasing a nano SIM card as well as a Micro SD memory card. These two items should be part of the package, so installation can happen smoothly. At this time, I still haven't been able to install the camera, as I can't figure out what SIM card to purchase. The instructions state "choose a Nano SIM card that supports WCDMA and FDD LTE." Ok...

This camera has great features! We love the motion spotlight. This not only helps with picture but more importantly lights the immediate area to ward off any unwanted visitors! The motion of the camera allows for greater range of viewing. It also offers very clear images. While the solar panel is quite large, it definitely allows for the capturing of sunlight to keep the unit charged. The reason for the 3 Star rating versus higher is that this product did not include a Sim card which is necessary to operate. This caused a delay in use, unexpected cost, and was honesty surprising considering the otherwise high quality of this camera.

I am also notifying Chewy of the missing item. Due the needed item i am unable to mount it or utilize it at this time. The packaging was very well done, and delivery was very timely. Once i have heard from the company and the camera is ready to use i will update my review.
