Terribly difficult to put together, I gave up

I love Chewy, and have purchase many items for my dogs. I bought this aquarium for a caught mouse that I want to release in the spring. I am sending it back as

I love Chewy, and have purchase many items for my dogs. I bought this aquarium for a caught mouse that I want to release in the spring. I am sending it back as it's impossible to assemble. I am a smart person (CPA by trade) and I have assembled a thousand things in my house, with almost no issues. This thing though is another story. The numbers on the pieces in instructions don't match the stickers on the pieces. Wgen the instructions say "slide the glass in" - nothing slides. And in trying to force it, the glass corners start shredding off. It's a nightmare, I just want it out of my house.
