Blew after a week
Used 100w bulb for 1 week and it blew. Very unhappy with this especially after paying that much for it.
Broke after less than 2 months!
My 100w bulb was delivered on April 6th. It was working great installed in a dome lamp rated for 120v/60Hz/100W. That is, until I came home today to find that the bulb burned out. I know that mercury vapor bulbs can be unreliable, but this is unacceptable for a $60 product.
It blew and it hasn't even been a month.
Normally with past brands of a mercury light bulb last well past 6 month, I change it due to the weakening rays... however this bulb only lasted a month!! Very upset spending that kind of money on a bulb that should last atleast 6 months, and to only get a month.
