What is the difference between the fine and the medium?

Being the owner of Chow Chows for thirty years, I am always in search of a comb. I have used the same broken-handled comb for many years. Thinking it was time for a new one with a new Chow Chow, I purchased this comb with the name "Professional" ... not professional. I can use a broken-handled comb, but not one with missing teeth. It is hard to believe the steel teeth are seriously falling out. This is $25 "thrown to the wind :(" I was concerned my pup had swallowed the first broken comb tooth--and very thankful I found it. This is the worst comb I have ever owned--do not buy a Resco if you want a reliable product. I am back to using my reliable broken-handled comb.

Very comfortable and high quality comb to use. Does a great job of removing the dead undercoat from my long hair cat. Teeth on comb are not sharp so comfortable

I was finally able to throw away my 30 year old dog comb, with the handle chewed so badly friends made jokes about it. I've bought I don't know how many dog combs over the years, but always returned to Old Faithful. This comb is comfortable to hold and my dogs and cats don't mind being combed with it.

Superb design and the craftsmanship is a beauty to behold. The rounded tips ensure you won’t encounter the risks associated with those thin spikes that for me, at least, are a red flag. Who wants to be groomed with pins and needles? Too risky. The potential damage to the skin is a greater concern than the ability to groom and the variable is the human who is doing the grooming. This is the safest comb I’ve ever used and my kitten loves it, as much as I do. Impeccable design, ergonomic handle, sturdy, and comes in 3 different widths. I have a Siamese so I chose the finest one. Can only imagine how great this would work on long-haired cats and dogs. This is the kind of tool designed to last a lifetime. Will add photos later.
