Gradually transition your pet to any new food over the course of 7-14 days to help avoid the digestive upset that abrupt changes in diet can cause. If your pet tends to be on the sensitive side, it may be best to take a little extra time. 1. Start by feeding your pet a mix of 25% new food and 75% old food for the first few days. 2. Then, increase the amount of new food to about 50% and feed that half-and-half mix for a few days. 3. Proceed to feeding 75% new food/25% old food for the next few days. 4. Complete the transition by feeding just the new food on its own.

My cats are both relatively picky, my elderly cat being the worst offender. We went through several flavors and brands and none seemed to ‘stick’. Worse yet, my elderly cat had all sorts of GI issues mostly related to his age. We tried prescription foods, not only would he not eat the whole plate, but it didn’t help his stomach at all. Then we tried reveal. It was on clearance and had limited ingredients so we took a chance. Not only do both cats LOVE this food, it’s helped clear up the GI issues my elderly cat was having. In addition, the older cat is now having thyroid issues. We discussed treatments with the vet including food. The vet said if he likes this to keep him on it! It’s high quality fish with water/broth, one of the best things for him to eat with his condition. In short this is cat approved and vet recommended!
Finding use as an alternative when tired of usual brand served. Mine only eat seafood and struggling to find one they like on a regular basis. Tried many over the years. Reveal does seem like good quality, reminds me very much of people tunafish when you open the can. Reason not 5 stars is sometimes a can is a little dry.
My cats new obsession! they love it — so much that im fighting them back while making their dinner, just like when they were kittens! Love that it is minimal ingredients, it literally looks like a can of tuna you would buy at the grocery store. Switched them to this about two weeks ago and i’ve noticed a major increase in energy from both my senior cat and two year old; both have been playing like crazy after their dinner of this food! Not 100% sure it is due to the food but they definitely scarf it down and look to me for seconds every evening after serving this food. Thanks Reveal!
So, while my cat didn’t want it - the ingredients looked really good (hence 4 stars). It’s not a bad cat food at all. Didn’t look like mush like a lot of other brands. No chicken, which is great because Max is allergic - I was hopeful, but, ughhh, MAX WASNT A FAN. And I tried to get him to go as long as possible so he was really hungry. The one he was “okay” with was the ocean fish, and he just licked the broth. Wouldn’t eat the pieces. I also tried mixing this with toppers and everything. He just wasn’t a fan. I think for the seaweed he just didn’t like the seaweed. and plus, for that and the others it was how …chunky the pieces are. He seems to be more of a creamy bits type. This is so discouraging. There aren’t a lot of chicken-free options as it is, and it’s just a huge waste of money to try them all. Guess it’ll be donated to the rescue we got Max from, so there’s that.
This tuna looks better than what we get in our cans, no lie. It’s smells great and my kitty gobbles it up. Only issue is that it is human grade and therefore has the nutrients of the tuna only. Considering this is better looking than what we eat I’d say this definitely still has the nutritional value of the fish (it isn’t overly processed giving it that sad overcooked/processed grey appearance). Overall this is a decent tester product. If they make a larger can this might be a keeper on the menu. But buying additional required vitamin/mineral additives might not be such a good value.
I love Chewy and our kitties love this brand. However, I found bones in two cans of the tuna fillet with seaweed. Be very careful and watch for bones. I was able to find them all and discard them. They could have caused some serious problems.
I have 2 kitties.. one is very food motivated, so whatever you feed her, she eats. The other kitty is very picky. Both of my kitties have loved these options. Makes life so much easier for me!
This is a good product but very expense. My cats snubbed it showed absolutely no interest so I gave it to my son who has 6 cats they loved it. I don't know what my cats problem is they won't even eat chicken or beef, I still love my spoiled kitties.
Glad to get our cat Frisky food restocked. She is very picky eater so it has to be her favorite all the time. The litter is of my wife choice, it is the best for keeping the odor down. Love great service.
My cats love this food! One of my cats vomits when eating canned food. This is the ONLY canned food I have found in years that both of my cats devour and do not throw up. They demand it every morning!
