This stuff is amazing! Our dog is terrified of rain, even if it isn't a storm with thunder and lightning. We have the thunder shirt which works well but this stuff works even better than the prescription that our vet initially gave him. It does not zone him out but just relaxes him. I put a bit of peanut butter in a bowl and then add the amount on the bottle for his weight and stir. He thinks it's a treat! We always have the big bottle on hand because it rains a lot here but if you are on the fence they do have a small bottle. It works. We do have a nervous cat too but he hated the taste so I can't report on how it works for cats.
I have a bully in a multi cat household. Was looking for something to take the edge off so we can do more peaceful bedtime. He was not having it.
We loved the Pet Calm supplement for our reactive Papillon! It helped bring her down just enough that we could work on her training while keeping her under threshold. She did not like the taste from the dropper, but readily ate her food with this on top!
works very well to calm down my dog when something surprises her like fireworks or even cars backfiring
I was hoping this would calm my Doberman posing as a Chihuahua but it doesn't seem to have affected him at all. The only good thing is he likes it. I can put some on his food and don't have to fight giving him it like I do any other medication or supplement. I've even upped the amount but to no avail.
This product is a great idea for cats that are a bit on the over aggressive or over playful side. Or perhaps they are anxious. It works great. No issues. That lap it up like candy.
It was hard to get it to the cats, by food was ok but it must have had a smell or taste the cats hate. It did nit help any
This product is wonderful! Thunderstorms and fireworks are never a worry when I've given my pets this supplement!
I purchased it for my five pound Yorkie because she gets so excited during car rides to the point of crying loudly and hassling and sometimes vomiting. She has also become a handful for her groomer, jumping around and nipping at her. I gave her a dose for her weight and we proceeded on a car ride about 45 minutes after she had it. I thought maybe it was working because she was quiet as I put her in her booster seat but as soon as I started the car she started up with her usual antics. I guess it’s just not the right calming aid for her :(
My daughter and I have always used this pre vet visits or bath or nail trims on my cats or her dog even!
