Extra wide gate
This is exactly what we needed to block off the garage opening to keep our small dogs from getting out while the overhead door is open. It’s nice and wide and has a walk thru gate. It white and looks great. Only thing that could improve it would be feet stabilizers for additional strength when leaned on.
Finally a nice gate that doesn't look cheap
This is a nicely designed gate. It's got a nice latch and it's the only gate I've gotten that doesn't look cheap. It fits well into our nice decor and a huge upgrade to our starter Iris plastic gate and the standard all black wire gate. I love that it's configurable so you can use some or all gate pieces and put it into whatever layout that meets your needs.
Not completely satisfied
Not a chewy issue but a product issue. The Richell 6 panel gate/pen I purchased has an issue with the gate section not staying shut. I have purchased this item twice in past and even though several years old the old gates work fine. I hope someone contacts me about this issue. Chewy has always been great to purchase from.
We love this gate!
We have two pitties and have tried many gates and crates for their sleeping space but this is our favorite. Very sturdy, looks nice and is excellent quality. Fits two large dog beds perfectly and we keep it in a large rectangle so it doesn’t take up so much of the room. I love that this won’t scratch up the floor like the metal pens do. Would buy again!!

Thought this was a bit pricey when ordering for our new cavapoo, but worth every penny. It was easy to assemble and has given us peace of mind when we need to run errands. We put a nanny cam in the room and he is very comfortable and calm in his playpen when we’re away. Highly recommend this versatile, high quality product.

Nicely crafted
This is a quality piece with nice finish. We are using it as a pen and my only complaint it is that the pins that lock the wooden coupling rods in place (with caps) are a little loose. I had to find a way to tighten them but once I did the pen worked great.
Excellent Solution
I needed a temporary gated solution for a recently adopted senior pup to make her feel comfortable and to assist with house breaking. This was the perfect solution as it's highly configurable so I was able to simply put a roomy gated area around the space she had selected for herself in my home. Although it turned out that I didn't need it for long, the gate looks nice enough for long term use if needed. It's plenty sturdy although neither my newly adopted senior nor my current pup tested that aspect. I'll hang onto it in the event of future adoptees. As a side note, I was looking at a similar (or probably the same) gate at another company that was $100+ more so I was very pleased to find this gate at Chewy. Delivery was expedient as well as I had the gate within two days.
Richell Gate
Previously, I ordered another brand gate from another pet company. When it arrived, 2 sections were broken due to poor quality, assembly, and boxing. I then warily ordered the Richell gate from Chewy, thinking the same thing might happen. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell that this 6 panel gate was well made. The assembly instructions were easy to read, it was packed well in the box, sections were easy to put together. Once assembled, it definintely is a better quality gate and attractive-looking in the home. Glad I ordered this one!
Beautiful but Edible
This fence is amazing. I love almost everything about it. It’s tall, easy to install and sturdy. I purchased the matching tray from another site which is amazing since my puppy loves to eat carpet. The only thing that I’m displeased by is the area of the door. It latches with two pieces of plastic and the bottom is exposed and enticing for my disgruntled puppy to chew on. He’s opened the gate once by chewing on the bottom of the door. I’ve tried bitter spray, bitter gel and even some chili powder to get him to stop. In the end I’ve had to install a metal mesh cover so he can’t eat anymore of the door.
