How big are the grid squares? Would this work for a guinea pig?

The grid panels are about 1 inch tall by 1 inch wide. This cage should be acceptable for Guinea pigs.

The ability to take the top off with just opening plastic clamps

This crate makes it easier for IVs ti be given to my car. Just open the plastic clamps & lift top off but keep cat inside the carrier I have been searching for this

Poor quality

I purchased this more expensive cat carrier rather than the most frequently purchased, less expensive model, because it was made in the US, I liked that the top

I purchased this more expensive cat carrier rather than the most frequently purchased, less expensive model, because it was made in the US, I liked that the top was clear, and the reviews were all positive. Unfortunately, the plastic on the top and on the opposite side of the metal opening is poor quality. I used it one time to take my cat to the vet, we got home and I left it on an ottoman, my cat knocked it off, and the plastic door cracked and it's unusable. I'm grateful for Chewy's incredible customer service but want to save others the hassle of needing to return this. Unless you are going to baby this thing and keep it out of reach from cats or kids, it will not last.

We love this carrier! It’s small and sturdy. I like having multiple doors for access. It makes it much easier to get my cat in and out of the carrier. I’m a veterinary assistant and often have to disassemble carriers to get kitties to come out so I also appreciate that this carrier is also very easy to assemble and disassemble. It’s also nice that the top is see through to give the cats another visual source as some kitties don’t like feeling boxed in. This is a smaller carrier, my larger cats (14 and 15lbs) don’t fit but it is perfect for my 8lb girlie.

Decent carrier

I like how easily it comes apart for storage and the roof door, since it's always a bit of a struggle getting my cats into the carrier. It seems relatively sturdy,

I like how easily it comes apart for storage and the roof door, since it's always a bit of a struggle getting my cats into the carrier. It seems relatively sturdy, except some of the clear plastic door feel a bit cheap. Don't think my cat could bust out but it's still concerning.

Easy to use, love all the access points!

This is a great, sturdy carrier. It was super easy to assemble (4 side clasps, top lid and handle). I love that it has two open options in the front (both sides)
