Great Gate

This gate really did the trick for our large doorway. It was a little bit of figuring to come up with the right combination of pieces. If I could change anything about it I would add a configuration in the instructions that would state for size opening ??"-??" use part a,b,c for size opening ??"-??" use a,c,1d you get the point. other than that really works wonderful.

The Pearly gate

We have a new puppy, Pearl,, coming this week and I needed an area I could confine her in while we are out. It was easy to put together ( I am 64 and did it by myself). Looks great and seems very sturdy.

Wide Dog gate

This is a well made gate. I should have Paid more attention to The dimensions. I was so concerned about the width I did not look at the height. This gate is good for small-medium size dogs, not a Great Dane or a Rhodesian Ridgeback.

Not up to Richell standards, took forever to assemble.

So many problems with this gate. One, it is marketed as a "wooden" gate, but only the main gate door is wood. The rest is cheap wood colored metal. If someone is buying an extra wide gate, it is because they will need the extensions, so I'm not sure why those aren't wood as well. For how much this gate costs, they should be. Two, the pins for the extension brackets needed to be pounded in because nothing was lining up easily. Each one was an effort to get through. Finally, the company put 4 LARGE stickers on the gate. About 6" each. I get the need for safety stickers, but again, if you are charging people this much for a gate please get the stickers right and make them a low tac adhesive. These were near impossible to get off. I went through a half bottle of goo gone and had to scrap with a plastic scraper for over a half hour. Total waste of time. And now that it is up, I just keep looking at it disappointed that the large majority of it is metal.
