How does the mesh fit into tray. It says it snaps in. Does it wear out over many times changing the pads?

This product is intended to be used routinely and will not wear out after continuous use. The tray snaps in to the frame.

My puppy has two trays and is able to open the clips which are visible on the sides. Will he be able to open this one.

Good for puppies

I used it to train my puppies. It took them a while, but they eventually popped and peed on it. It is hard to clean since puppies’ poop is soft.

This product has made cleaning up messes a lot easier! With my previous pee pad holder, my pup would either step in her pee and track wet paw prints around, or get anxious & antsy in her playpen and rip/chew the pee pad up. With this mesh screen, I no longer have to worry about either of these problems, and feel more comfortable and confident leaving her alone when needed :)

Needs Work

It is a great idea, but cleaning loose or liquid stools from the grate is a disaster. The grate holes are too small in my opinion and often stool gets caked in them

Still having pee tracks

I bought this for my 10lb mini doxie. He is excellent at going on the potty pads, however he pees a fairly large amount, steps in it and creates a trail of pee tracks

I bought this for my 10lb mini doxie. He is excellent at going on the potty pads, however he pees a fairly large amount, steps in it and creates a trail of pee tracks. I started by not using the grate for about a week so he could get use to it before adding the grate. Unfortunately the grate does not have spacers under it that would keep it from touching the potty pad, so I was sad to see pee tracks again. This might work for a smaller dog that produces less urine, maybe a 5lb chihuahua or yorkie. I will contact Chewy and I’m sure they will make things right.

Simple easy design that works very well. My girl needed just a little prompting and she is using the potty training tray without issue. We did use a reusable mat

Simple easy design that works very well. My girl needed just a little prompting and she is using the potty training tray without issue. We did use a reusable mat for a long time but she kept missing and peeing off the edges. This gives her a better edge she can feel and I haven't needed to clean the floor since we got it. It's super easy to take apart and clean and very simple to change pads.

Amazing!!!!

My 10 week old puppy was playing too much with the puppy pads. I even tried to tape them to the floor and she got smart. This pad holder has been worth every penny

My 10 week old puppy was playing too much with the puppy pads. I even tried to tape them to the floor and she got smart. This pad holder has been worth every penny. She took to it immediately and used it 3 times the first day! She now seems to think it’s also a bed because she will lay on it. I am happy that she’s not laying on her pee as the mesh helps separate the two. Recommend 100%
