I have 3 cats and two of them take turns curling up in it as a bed!! I may never get to put it away but they love it, so it will stay out as another “nest” for them!
I actually bought two of these: one for my own cats and one for my foster kittens. Because I need to sanitize my supplies between foster litters and the cushion is not machine washable, I removed it and placed a soft blanket at the bottom. Not as cozy or comfortable but it works. My cat peed in the second carrier the very first time I used it to take her to the vet. I actually tried to machine wash the cushion on the delicate cycle but it completely lost its shape. I cut a hole in the cover to fit my hand inside and try to reshape it. I ended up throwing it out because it was lumpy. . Richell, please make these machine washable or sell replacement cushions.
I was on the fence about this carrier for a long time since it comes off as a novelty item and is quite expensive. I just got it (and used it) today, and I love it so much. No regrets. My cat (about 7lbs) was very comfortable. I will say if your cat prefers to hide when in new places, this may not be a good choice, as they are quite exposed due to the large window. The one thing I didn’t like was the shipping packaging. It was shipped in the manufacturer’s box which had no padding or protective wrapping. The carrier was just loose in the box. One of the snaps was snapped off, but it was easy to snap back on (thankfully). Also the cardboard quality was thin, so there was a hole in it. The carrier was ultimately unscathed, but it seemed like a close call.
I've only needed to use this carrier once but I was impressed with the features. The tinted face shield easily slides into place at a gradual pace and manually locks. The back has venting for airflow. Inside is a padded bed; padding is thicker at circumference than at the bottom to protect kitty. Using the slot at the top, the shoulder belt in my car secured the carrier in place for travel. The entire body can be disassembled easily for cleaning. My cat was stable and supported, no jostling or bumping about as I carried her around. Even my Houdini cat could not escape. Thank you Richell.
Brought my kitten home in this and love it. Easy to handle, doubles as a bed. It’s nice they can see out. Super modern look!!
I love this. My cat can see out and not be so afraid, although she knows it means a trip to the vet. Many compliments. You need to make sure you have a small cat.
Love this capsule. Norwich Terrier Puppy jumps in and out on his own. He sleeps at night and rides safely and happily in the car in it. He is now 7 pounds and he is still very comfortable inside. Very well made and easy to clean. Not to mention it is really a conversation piece and easy to carry.
