This ring doorbell has good picture quality and a wide angle of site. The battery is long lasting and can be charged as needed. I have had it up for a week and it hasn't needed a charge. Once set up with your phone the time for it to notify you that something is happening is pretty quick. The ability to speak with the person at the door is convenient and the quality of sound is good. It also comes with a free trial so that you can test the product before actually committing to a plan. My issues with the ring doorbell is there are no instructions in the box and you have to go online to find out how to initially install it and set it up. It comes with multiple screws and other items so that you can attach it to your wall either hard wired or battery operated which is nice. The problem is the package is labeled with letters, but the instructions for install do not refer to letters but only the size of the screws. There is also no mounting guide included, so you will need to create your own. There are many videos out there to help with the process thankfully. If you are not hard-wiring the ring doorbell than you will have to buy a second device so that you can hear the doorbell in your home or rely strictly on your phone notifications. Because this is battery operated I thought it would come with the device to hear it inside the home. Overall this camera and doorbell appears to be of good quality and it does add a sense of security to your home.
