Great camera
Love this camera! Makes it so easy to keep an eye on my property and pup. It also allows my neighbors to link into and vice versa for added coverage.

Ok Cam, But Not A Mode For Recognizing Pets

This is my first time using a Ring cam.Hookup was easy, clear pictures, notifications work well. Can only choose people or motion or both. No pet mode. Not a good way to save video unless you subscribe. No on board memory or place for sd card. The cams I have used for the last few years can distinguish pets, people, cars, motion (you can chose which ones for each camera) and has the ability to record continuously to a sd card that can be viewed through the app from anywhere. Ok cam, but I’ve been spoiled using Wyze cams for a lot cheaper price and more features.
Outdoor WiFi Pet Camara - Versatile, Easy to use

This is our first Ring product. We've been using the Ring Stick Up Wifi Pet Camara for about a month and couldn't be happier with it. Currently we are using this indoors to monitor our pets and home when we are away. The Camara's design is sleek and contemporary looking and is small enough to not be obtrusive. The directions are well written and we found it very easy to set up and use. There are options included for a couple of different mounting options. Because of the product's versatility and image clarity, we have decided to purchase a multipack as I manage a small feral cat colony at a location other than our home. We have Wifi at the second location and am looking forward to being able to also monitor the feeding station more closely for new cats, potential health issues within the colony, and the occasional wildlife visitor.
Gives me peace of mind

I use the Ring primarily in the dog room so I can monitor what’s going on in there while I’m out. Our dog room is a small bedroom with couch, dog beds and a cat tower and home to three dogs and a cat. I love that I can set the Ring up at one end of the room and the wide-angle allows me to see everything. I don’t have it mounted so that I can move it around the house if desired. It’s totally controllable from the app so that wherever I am I can check in on the animals - or turn off the motion detector so that I’m not bothered by notifications every time one of them moves. It’s given me real peace of mind knowing they mostly just sleep! If anyone so much as approaches our front gate the dogs get up and bark and I get notified. Another thing I like is that the battery seems to be super long lasting and is easy to charge. I really have no complaints except that it does have to have access to wifi which means I can’t use it in the outside kennel (which is out of wifi range). Overall I love it!
Super easy set-up and a siren!!!

Got my Ring stick-up cam, charged the battery…ready for set-up. Download Ring app, Scan QR code and it pretty much sets itself up! Was ready in minutes with a few taps of the screen. When my stick-up cam sees motion in the yard, it starts recording and alerts my phone. I see what's happening and hear what's going on outside and tell my dog Slayer to "stop eating sticks" right from my phone. There is even a siren that is sure to break-up a cat fight. I check battery life in the Ring app so I know when to charge it, and I watch Sinnamon, Slayer and Dawgiecat on live view anytime I want!
Excellent for outdoor use!
The Stick Up Ring Cam is an absolute game-changer for me, especially for monitoring my backyard for both my dog, and to make sure the kids are doing ok back there
The Stick Up Ring Cam is an absolute game-changer for me, especially for monitoring my backyard for both my dog, and to make sure the kids are doing ok back there when they play outside. From the start, setup was effortless and the battery lasts a long time without needing to be recharged, which is nice in the winter...this device deserves every bit of its five-star rating! I recently moved it it into my garage, and its motion detection feature alerted me whenever my indoor cat (who snuck out recently) ventured into the garage for food. The clarity of the footage is excellent, even in the dark garage, providing me with a crystal-clear view of my cats location. I'm so happy to have this camera...it offers me peace of mind by enhancing the security of my backyard, but it also serves as a convenient tool for pet owners like myself. Highly recommended for anyone seeking reliable and versatile monitoring solutions!
Wish I'd gotten this sooner
I was very excited with the anticipation of receiving this product and it did not disappoint. I already have the doorbell ring, so this was the perfect compliment
I was very excited with the anticipation of receiving this product and it did not disappoint. I already have the doorbell ring, so this was the perfect compliment to that system. I have one small pittbull/poodle mix on a GPS collar and 3.5 acres, plus a handful of sheep and goats out back. My young child likes to play on the swingset and always brings the dog out with her. With the outdoor ring, I have the capability to check on them at any time and still see any visitors to the sheep and goat pen. With the option to adjust the area of the shot where movement triggers a notification, I can include any approach to the sheep and goat pen as a trigger, but not the pen itself where those guys are moving around all day and night. I also love the feature where I can have the doorbell ring linked to the backyard, so motion in the driveway triggers the backyard camera to begin recording as well.
Ring camera used in my home

Ah, the Ring Video Camera, the high-tech sentinel of suburbia, or as I like to call it, my personal snooping sidekick. The Ring Video Camera isn't just a security device – it's a comedic companion that turns everyday surveillance into a sidesplitting sitcom. From installation antics (im not tech savvy, instalation was tricky. I had to get help) to motion detection mishaps, it's the perfect addition to any homeowner's laugh-out-loud security arsenal. I use the camera in my livingroom and it helps me keep an eye on my dogs while im at work. After my son helped with installation and talked me through the app, it was great. It works well, great picture as advertised. I feel better about being away from my dogs, knowing i can check on them with just a click of a button.
