I have this in the shower not even just for the dogs but for my own long hair. This keeps me from having to use as much drain cleaner as I used to. It does collects
I have this in the shower not even just for the dogs but for my own long hair. This keeps me from having to use as much drain cleaner as I used to. It does collects some water around the rim when it's not high enough to pass through but it does what it advertised and I empty it out after use. It's easy to clean and fits practically any drain. I've used it for a few months now with no issues.

I really don’t want to have to call a plumber again because of the pet hair building up in the pipes and this is the most effective fur catcher out there. It’s way better than the tub shroom and those metal mesh basket-like hair and fur catchers. Wish I took a picture of the fur that it caught when Rosie blew her coat a few weeks ago, the pile was HUGE and 4 times the size of those from previous deshedding baths. My cat is a ragdoll and has super fine hair that usually slips past most other pet hair catchers, but this one caught so much I was stunned.

I bought this product for myself. I have very thick short hair, and I shed a lot! We just cleaned out the tub drain prior to purchasing the Rinse Ace Pet Hair Snare Drain Catcher. It doesn't seem to suction to my tub drain. However, it stays in place while I shower. I rince my hair daily and shampoo a few times a week. With every use, this product is catching all the hair that I am shedding instead of clogging up my drain. I'll be purchasing another Rince Ace to use in our RV trailer shower. It would also work in a sink. I highly recommend this product.
Not worth it
If you wash your pets in a utility sink or maybe an older bathtub it would probably work great. It does not fit over the drain in our new bathtub and moves around
