Description

Keep excess fur from clogging your drain with the Rinse Ace Pet Hair Snare Drain Catcher. It helps prevent clogged drains by catching your pup’s hair before it enters the drain, while it keeps things tidy with its compact design. Thanks to its flexible base and raised center screen to accommodate pop-up stoppers, it’s ideal for use on most sink, shower, or tub drains. Its self-sealing suction action automatically holds it in place, so you can focus on your lathered-up pup instead of the drain. No matter the fur, bath time with your pal can be worry-free and mess-free, with no assembly needed.

    Drain Snare Catcher

    By on

I really like using this drain catcher however sometimes it doesn't stay in place. Probably because I bathe my dogs in my old bath tub. So when I flip the drain I just hold the catcher in place for about 10 seconds and it does work pretty good. I didn't realize that my Jack Russell Terrier shed so much hair.

    No my favorite

    By on

I got this because my bath tub gets terribly backed up from hair, human and dog! However, when the water is coming out of my faucet, it rips the device right off the drain. The water impact makes it impossible to stay in place. And I live off well water and lower water pressure. Also, I have only used it a few weeks and it is already discoloring. It was a bummer.

    Better than most

    By on

It's designed to catch the very finest hair (my Cocker's curly locks and mine too!). It will back up the water in the tub when a lot is trapped & just a matter of cleaning it off during her bath time. Fits well over my new tub pop up drain stopper & hasn't floated away as others have. Only struggle is my pup is all over the place & knocks it off at times but oh well, it works when in place.

    Surprisingly stays in place.

    By on

I needed something to keep my lab/chow's hair from clogging our bathtub while giving her a bath. I ordered this to find it doesn't sit in the drain, but covers the top, sitting like a hat. It surprisingly stayed in place even with the water rushing out of the faucet. It keeps the hair from even getting close to the drain.

    Didn't work as hoped

    By on

Unfortunately, this did not work as hoped. It doesn't have any type of suction so it doesn't stay securely in place over the drain. Additionally, it fails to drain water while catching snaring hair, so it essentially becomes a sink plug. The idea of the product is good, and now that I've found one that works, I know it's possible - just not with this one.

I’m sure there’s better drainers out there

    By on

Definitely caught the hair but you had to keep moving it because it would clog up very quickly

    Might work if it fits

    By on

This might work great if it fits your tub, but it didn't work with mine. I honestly don't see how it even suctions to any tub to be honest. It's not made from a material that it typically used for "suction". It's very cheap feeling.

Catches hair, but tub drains slow

    By on Top 250 Contributor

I haven’t had to buy too many drain catchers, so I’m not the best to ask for a comparison between this and other brands, but this one seriously catches EVERYTHING- even short human hair. The only con is that it makes our bathtub drain slow, even without hair covering it up. I had to remove hair from this several times throughout bathing my dog (A bordercollie that doesn’t shed too much) just so that the dirty water wouldn’t pool up in the tub. It does exactly what it says it does, but I wish it would allow more water to go through so that I didn’t have to clean it so many times while bathing my dog.

IF YOU HAVE HAIR, BUY THIS

    By on

At first, I just used this to keep my dog's hair from clogging the drain, but it works on people hair too! I just keep it on the drain, then toss out the hair tangled in it. It has some difficulty adhering to the tub at first, but after a little while in the water, it sticks perfectly over any kind of drain.
