Good quality long term supplement

I haven’t had my dog on these capsules long enough to see a dramatic difference yet, but I can already say that I’m impressed with the quality. One thing I appreciate about these supplements is that they contain pepper, which enhances turmeric absorption, and the capsules themselves seem well-made. With pet supplements, you always have to be cautious, so I like that these appear to be high quality. There next thing I like is there have been no negative interactions, even though my dog is on a carefully planned wellness routine with multiple supplements recommended by her practitioner. She takes prescription pills for her liver, a milk thistle supplement, and other vitamins, along with Denamarin, Gabapentin, a joint supplement, and human-grade dog food. I was pleased that these blended in seamlessly with everything else. Just like with human supplements, it’s highly unlikely that you’d see a radical change in just two weeks. This is a long-term addition to her wellness routine, and I believe that well-chosen, high-quality supplements can make a meaningful difference over time. Lastly, these capsules are easy to administer (my dog is 50 pounds) —I either mix them into her food (uncapping and sprinkling them in, then throwing the empty capsule in too), or if needed, I use a pet pill dispenser followed by a small syringe of water and a salmon treat as a reward. She eats them mixed in her food without issue, and if I need to pill her, she takes them just fine. Overall, I’m optimistic about these and will continue using them as part of her wellness routine!

I personally take Turmeric for pain and inflammation so know how beneficial it can be. I was happy to find a product that is safe and natural for my pets and can help give them some relief from the aches and pains of growing old. This product contains pepper which is key in helping with absorption. The capsules are small and can be easily hidden in a treat or opened so that you can sprinkle it on their food. I highly recommend adding Turmeric to any pets diet that is older or suffering from arthritis and inflammation.

I've been giving my dog Rooted Owl Natural Turmeric capsules for a couple of weeks now, and I've been happy with the results! Not only has my girl not experienced any stomach upset or negative side effects, I've also noticed some positive changes in her mobility. These turmeric capsules offer numerous health benefits for dogs. Turmeric contains curcumin, which has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. This can help reduce joint stiffness and improve mobility (which is the main reason I wanted to try these). Additionally, turmeric is known to support digestive health by stimulating bile production in the liver, aiding in the breakdown of fat. It's also known to boost cognitive function and potentially help with weight management and my girl definitely needs to shed a few pounds (Vet’s orders). What I appreciate about Rooted Owl's product is that it says it is made from high-quality, medicinal-grade turmeric. The capsules also contain piperine, which significantly increases curcumin absorption. Overall, I'm impressed with these Turmeric capsules. They're an easy way to incorporate this beneficial supplement into my dog's diet, and I look forward to seeing more long-term benefits as we continue to give them to our pup

I could not really tell any difference using this product with my old dog he will be 9 this year so he definitely has some arthritis. He is also a big dog almost

I have a senior dog and we have been giving this product for a month now. It is hard to tell if it's been helping with his mobility but he doesn't mind the product

My older girl, Caoimhe, is 14 years old and about 80lbs with the typical big dog arthritis - nearly all in her hips. She's been on a different OTC supplement (all natural) that doesn't share any ingredients with Rooted Owl, but I checked with her veterinarian to make sure it was okay for her to take both and gradually until she was taking Rooted Owl only. Rooted Owl information states it can take up to several weeks to see any improvement, but I noticed a difference during the two weeks Caoimhe was taking it alone. It might have proven more effective if she had taken it longer, but due to her size her dosage was 3 capsules per day, which meant the bottle lasts her 20 days. We made the transition from her regular supplement to only Rooted Owl over 6 days and she had no problems. Overall, it was a very good product and she (of course) took the capsules with no hesitation...when wrapped in cheese. I love the fact there is no filler, just natural and limited ingredients: turmeric, black pepper, and vitamin C. When combined with her usual supplement, it looked like she was doing better - still stiff, but no problems getting up and walking. While on Rooted Owl only, there were no signs that she was in any pain, only a little slower getting up and walking. It did help more with the occasional swelling she gets when she forgets her age and tries to keep up with her favorite brother (3 year old Weimaraner). Since Rooted Owl does a better job with swelling and she didn't have any problems taking it along with her other supplement, I'll go back to giving her both.

Easy to give

I honestly can't tell if it is making a difference in my 9 y/o German shepherd/lab mix, but he eats them when I put them in his bowl and it doesn't seem to have

I honestly can't tell if it is making a difference in my 9 y/o German shepherd/lab mix, but he eats them when I put them in his bowl and it doesn't seem to have any bad side effects, at least. He struggles with joint pain and bad allergies, but I can't say he seems to be doing any better on them. He does weigh 80 lbs, so he requires 4 capsules a day, which does empty the bottle pretty quickly. The capsules at least don't have a bad smell to them and none of them were broken open in the bottle, so they are easy to give. Overall, I suppose if he developed worsening joint pain or allergies, I would consider restarting to see if they offered any relief, but currently I would not continue to buy.
