Transition Instructions

Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

Many Reviews about Expired Product. Do something!

    By Caly12 on Jan 26, 2021

I’m yet another long time Chewy client who received this product when not only had it expired months before, but I was sent opened cat food with maggots in the same box. Really folks? Is this the best you can do? We love our pets and thought you cared a little more than this.

    Expired dog food

By Lucy on Jan 5, 2021

2 of 3 packages of dog food sent 2 weeks ago had expired Oct. 2020. I ended up throwing them away after my puppy puked up the first serving i have her. That is what triggered me to check the expiration date.

    Helps Old Dogs

By Scratch on Oct 20, 2020

My oldest hound (15 yo) has been having trouble with weight maintenance & I add this to her dry food 3X a week to help with that. My other 2 hounds enjoy it too. It’s nice with tiny tid bit bites & gravy.

    Great as a topper

By giffo on Oct 16, 2020

My rescue dog did not want to eat dog food. I tried four different brands until I found this. I added on top of Royal Canin's medium puppy food. Now she happily eats! What a relief! :-)
