Since our rescue Havanese puppy, Rocco, doesn’t understand calming language, we tried this food. It’s been a few weeks and so far so good. I’m mixing about 1/4 cup Calm and 1/4 cup of his regular kibble 2x a day.
We've been giving this calming dog food to our dog for a long time. We can leave the house for a few hours and know she will be relaxed.
My finicky pup doesn't like dry food but has taken to this and I think it is having a slightly calming affect on her.
I began using this good recommended for my poodle who had dementia and would get upset. It really helped him calm especially for 2 to 3 hours after his 2 feedings a day. I sprinkled just a few pieces on my other dogs food and they became less nervous as well. My dogs seem more relaxed and loving, not as competitive with each other and we don't have as much separation anxiety when we leave for work. They just seem more content. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. We use it only as a supplement to their meals.
I had hopes for this food.. my dog ate it at first.. ordered another bag and he’s sick. He won’t eat at all now.. would like to return.
My Maltese likes it. He is nervous during thunderstorms and other dogs. He seems to be calming down
Order dog food for my dash down. She has a lot of digestive issues and royal canine is great for her. The product got to my home in two days unfortunately I ordered the wrong food. I ordered the Dash hound royal Canin food and got it within two days. So thank you
Royal Canin Veterinary Calming Pet Food works to calm my small dog. He’s afraid of everything and it helps him to be more civil.
We are now almost through a full bag and I've seen a big difference in my dog. I tried this food after everyone in the house returned to work after being home full-time during the pandemic. She was having trouble adjusting to being home alone again and we noticed her pacing back and forth all day on the doggie camera. I asked my vet and she said we could try a couple other options before going with medication. Now we feed this to her in the morning and she easily settles herself down for the day and is able to relax while we're gone. She also normally doesn't do very well meeting new dogs and can get defensive. Since being on this food, she does a lot better and isn't so nervous in social settings. She is also the pickiest eater and LOVES this food and eats it no problem everyday.
I use this as a topper on Trixie's food when I need to make sure she settles down for a snooze. Within 45 minutes, she is snoring. I have been buying this continuously for six months now. It is worth every penny.
