My sisal-loving cat won’t go near this one. Perhaps it’s due to it not being the rope variety, but the more woven type of sisal. Plus, it’s pretty costly. I’m eager

I was hoping to get a neutral scratcher and got a red and yellow one. It’s really ugly and doesn’t match my home at all—but I guess it serves its purpose.

Presented this Deluxe Cat Scratcher to my cat every which way. She wasn’t having it. Like others have stated, the product is well made, a perfect size for large cats but for whatever reason the sisal was off-putting. Chewy was happy to process a refund.

So my kitty loves to chew on her normal scratching posts, so I purchased this thinking this would be a great solution. No cardboard mess and cat would be happy scratching...nope
So my kitty loves to chew on her normal scratching posts, so I purchased this thinking this would be a great solution. No cardboard mess and cat would be happy scratching...nope. I have tried to put her on it, and show her how to scratch but I don't think she likes the feeling of this on her nails. There's no mess but there is nothing for my cat to scratch now. Luckily I have this small cat tree which has a softer rug on it that she will scratch, but I feel like I wasted my money on this to be honest. I rather have a mess of cardboard then not have my cat have something to scratch on.

this is a great quality and my cats can lay completely on top of it. however, i don't know if THIS material is necessarily for them as they did not naturally gravitate towards it to scratch. even with the catnip they just sniffed and licked it for the catnip but didn't really scratch. that's not the manufacturer's fault though. just not my cat's thing...yet. i'm still holding out!

My large tabby just got this scratcher from Chewy recently and he just loves it. I got the deluxe model so that it would fit all of him on it and he uses it to scratch on plus he loves to relax and even sleep on it. It is sturdy and very well made. I am including a picture I just took of him on it.
