Very sturdy, well made.

My cat climbs up and can scratch both front and back paws. He loves the height and the incline. Wide stable base lets him scratch without me worrying about it tipping

Falling apart

This post is deteriorating badly where the cats scratch and the fibers are unsafe -- fine, but a choke hazard. Very disappointing for an item that was not cheap

Solid wood, perfect height & no felt

Frame is solid wood not cardboard as Chewy has it listed. Carpet is thick. Took bit of time for my cat to take to the sisal pad vs previous post which had sisal

Frame is solid wood not cardboard as Chewy has it listed. Carpet is thick. Took bit of time for my cat to take to the sisal pad vs previous post which had sisal rope. Her claws are softening it up though. She definitely enjoys the carpeted pole. Wasn’t aware how wonderful carpet can be as previous post had felt on base and bottom half of post. Felt not durable enough for my cat only when a kitten.Thinking shredded felt fibers not so good health wise for either of us.. Mine came in neutral gray. Seems handcrafted.

Got this for a feral kitty who is getting used to indoor life. He’s big and strong, and his claws are super thick. I wanted something big enough that he could stretch out on but also stable enough for him to scratch comfortably. I went with the right choice! This thing is sturdy and strong. He likes scratching both the sisal and the carpet. So glad I bought this!

Very sturdy. Like it that it is high enough that cats get a good stretch. Wish there was a platform on top for cats to sit and watch birds.
