Arrived in plastic bag, in box with case of canned dog food. I followed the instructions and blew it up, put collar through loops and as I was attempting to put on our yorkie pup (bought x-small per diagram for chihuahua but was way too tight. This wouldn't fit on a rat!, would size up) I noticed the fabric was letting go from the zipper. The threads were even intact in the middle. Very disappointing as we were going to use it to replace the plastic cone after neuter surgery. Poor product, would have given no stars but had to pick one to submit

My dog has bad skin that sometimes gets very irritated that he just won’t leave alone, which seems to make it worse. I didn’t want to put a cone on him because he gets so sad while wearing, plus he can’t reach his food and water while wearing a cone. I got this instead and it’s great! My dog is very nervous so a lot of things can make him uncomfortable but he really doesn’t mind wearing this doughnut. He even used it as a pillow lol. He can’t lick himself but he can still do all of his normal things as well as resch his food and water bowls. The only bad thing about the doughnut is that he can still reach his tail. It’s definitely not suitable for all situations and I would say if your dog has a longer snout or a long body the doughnut probably won’t work for you and your dog.

My dog had eye surgery & I was not looking forward to the dreaded cone collar. Came across this inflatable recovery collar on Chewy. My vet approved it & let my dog wear it after her surgery. Not only is it soft & comfortable, my dog did not mind wearing it. Made going outside & eating so much more less bulky. Easy to put on & take off w Velcro straps. Her head & neck rested comfortably on the soft collar pillow when sleeping. The collar prevented my dog from scratching her eye. My friends & family thought she was so cute in the collar too.. very functional. Highly recommend over those brutal hard cones!

It was okay for an outing but was not comfortable for resting. if you use this one for walking around, i would suggest a flexible one for resting or sleeping.
