Instructions
Wet pet’s coat with warm water. Apply a generous amount of shampoo and thoroughly lather into coat, beginning at the head and working back towards the tail. Avoid getting into eyes. Allow 5 total minutes of contact. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat process as needed.

No wet dog smell!!

I ended up loving this shampoo way more than I expected! The lime scent is definitely strong, but in the best possible way. It smells like real lime, not that artificial candy smell. The coconut blends in beautifully too, so my dog came out smelling like a fresh tropical breeze instead of “wet dog,” which honestly might be a first for us. The consistency is slightly thinner than some other shampoos, and I actually prefer that. It made it super easy to spread through my dog’s coat, especially since the directions recommend using a generous amount and letting it sit for 5 minutes. While I was working it in, it felt soft and silky, and it rinsed out so cleanly. The real magic, though, was in the shedding. This loosened way more fur than other shampoos I’ve tried. Most of it came off in the tub during rinsing instead of ending up all over me, the bathroom, and every towel in sight. With my senior Labrador who sheds like it’s his full-time career, that’s a huge win. If they ever release a matching conditioner, I’ll grab it immediately. For now, this is definitely going into my regular rotation. I’m excited to see if his shedding keeps improving over the next few weeks!

I am happy to say that it worked wonderfully! Usually after a bath and some dry time, we'd go outside and "aggressively pet" the extra fur off. With this shampoo, it seemed like all the extra hairs released quicker and easier, and his coat feels amazing after fully drying. This shampoo has a slight and pleasant scent. It is thin, making it easy to apply and lather. I have no doubt that it would be a great addition to any dog's bath routine, especially with a double/thick coat.

I’ve been using the RUFF by Lillian Ruff De-Shedding Pet Shampoo in Coconut Lime, and I’m really impressed. Her coat is about three or more inches long, and after just a few washes it’s noticeably softer and shinier. She also seems much less itchy, which is a huge win. Best of all, there’s been a lot less shedding around the house. The coconut lime scent is fresh without being overpowering. Definitely recommend for dogs with longer hair!

Are you looking for a product that helps minimize the excess fur floating around your home from your beloved pet? I recently had the opportunity to try the Ruff De-Shedding Shampoo by Lillian Ruff in the coconut scent. Upon opening the bottle, I performed a smell test and must admit, it smelled delightful. I have two German Shepherds, and I know this shampoo will benefit them by reducing shedding and promoting hydration and skin care, thanks to its nutrient-rich formula. This shampoo contains coconut oil, aloe vera, and colloidal oatmeal, which work together to soothe irritation and lock in moisture in my dogs' coats. Additionally, flaxseed oil and vitamin E help strengthen hair follicles and protect against oxidative stress. Now, for the fun part! I decided to use the product on one of my dogs, Zara. When she entered the bathroom, she looked at the tub, then at the shampoo bottle, gave me a smirk, and walked away. To my surprise, she stopped, came back into the bathroom, looked at me, and seemed to give her approval. The shampoo applied well and lathered nicely, effectively reaching the dirt deep within her coat. This product, when paired with a good de-shedding tool, will significantly help minimize shedding. Overall, I enjoyed using this product!

The shampoo seemed to bring out loose clumps of hair and worked as you'd expect for dog shampoo. It has a really nice smell! She's still drying off so we'll see how it smells once she's dry!

It’s made in the U.S. and contains no harmful ingredients according to the label. Four stars due to price, but I still would recommend.
