Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Take care to choose the correct size ball for your dog. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
my little boy (15 lb. shih-poo) is *absolutely obsessed* with balls and fetch. more than any other type of toy. and this 2.5 in. ball immediately became his favorite of all time. he spends hours playing with it everyday. gnawing at it and chasing it around. he loves to destroy every toy he meets but has yet to even put a dent in this one. Lolo highly recommends. :)
I have looked everywhere for a perfect toy for my Rottweiler! He usually destroys every toy I buy him in 2 minutes! His had this ball for a few days now and is still like new ! I highly recommend this if you have an aggressive chewer ! Totally going to buy more of this
This is a great toy. I have a Great Dane mix who needs a tough large size ball. This is her new favorite and she carries it around the yard constantly. We have had it several months and it still is in good shape. She doesn't sit and chew on it, so not sure how it would hold up for that. She carries it constantly and plays fetch with it.
Ruff Dawg toys have been terrific for playing with my Lab puppy. The ball is great because it bounces very high and he can run and jump to fetch it. So far...it has been indestructible.
I have 2 american bullies who are obsessed with balls and so far this is the only one they haven't been able to destroy. They love it and it keeps them busy.
The Ruff Dawg ball XL exceeded my expectations! I've been using them for weeks now with my 3 large dogs and nobody has come close to destroying them. (The dogs are not left unsupervised with the balls). They are a little heavy, so I don't want the dogs to try to catch them, but they are great for fetch. They bounce in odd directions, so they do keep everyone on their toes. They are a bit slippery when trying to pick up, but I can live with that. Great purchase!
I have a very big dog and she loves this ball. It bounces well, and she hasn't been able to destroy it yet, as she has done with lesser balls.
First toy i’ve been able to find that my pup can’t destroy. I’ve got a 1 year old - 50lb pitbull…She loves balls, anything you can throw for her to retrieve but she always ends up destroying them. I’ve tried so many different toys but there was nothing this dog couldn’t absolutely shred. We’ve had this ball for about 5 months or so and it’s still going strong!!! It’s got it’s little dings and dents, because why wouldn’t it. But it’s solid! Love this ball and brand…definitely don’t disappoint!
My dog Moe is a destroyer, every toy he has been given is in pieces within weeks or hours. This solid rubber ball is still undamaged after 3 weeks of hard play. Moe doesn't put the ball down when he is awake, he carries it with him everywhere he goes. Its heavy and large so they have to have the strength to carry it around.
These solid, all natural rubber balls may seem too expensive at first, but trust me, the cheaper balls are the ones that are too expensive when you factor in all of the replacements you buy because they don't last. These balls ARE truly indestructible! As a professional dog walker, I can attest to their ability to resist even the most focused chewers. Sure, they may get a tooth or two into them, but that's as far as it will go - no swallowed chunks to worry about, or fuzz working it's way through their digestive system, just a little hole that closes up tight when they are done. They have a nice heft, but won't knock anyone's lights out with a wild throw, and wow, what a super bounce! They can take running them through the dishwasher or the washing machine when they need a good cleaning, and are ALWAYS the favorite ball at the park. The only reason you will have to replace one of these balls is because someone walked off with it in their mouth without anyone noticing. I always have 2 or three of them with me so that everyone can have fun with the best ball there instead of constantly trying to get it back from someone who stole it fair and square with a faster fetch!
